Hotel The Gatsal

Stay was good. Rooms are clean and furnished. Staff is polite. Wifi is not strong enough on second and third floor.

We have checked in two days ago. Location and rooms are good. However they are not having sufficient staff. Further the service by a staff is very poor. The room allocated to us have faulty lock. There was no hand wash, shampoo bottls in room and intercom was not working. Also bed was infected by bed buck's. After we complaint, they change the room.

Humble staff. Co operative owner. Superb location delicious food. All things can be managed by gatsal like rental car, bike, guide etc. At least cost.

My family's 3 days stay at Gatsal was comfortable. Hotel's location is picturesque with mountain views. Hotel is neat and clean. Food is hygeinic and home like. Hotel owner lady is polite and cooperative. But, house keeping staff need to give better service. Lift was not operating and we had to request each life to switch on the lift. So overall, the stay was good but there is certainly room and need for improvement.

We had a very comfortable stay at hotel the gatsal. Rooms and washrooms were very tidy and the food was good too. Location of the hotel is ideal. Its just 10-15 mins form leh main market by foot and very close to shanti stupa. The surroundings are calm and peaceful. Overall we had a very nice and comfortable stay at gatsal and would love to stay there again.

Even though we booked a super deluxe room we were allotted a downgraded room due to a mix up at the reception

Food quality is good and staff service is very good

The hotel owner and staffs are equally good, they will try their best to make your stay memorable. Food, room, view from the room, hospitality, everything was perfect.
