Hotel The Grand Raj

We stayed in luxury rooms which were on 3rd floor. Rooms were large with a nice balcony and view from it was perfect. Check in was very smooth and room service as well as front desk were all prompt to resolve any of our needs. Restaurant service was good value for money. The Hotel The Grand Raj is small and probably much in demand, hence the need to book early and not all portals provide the rates (in may case tripadvisor did not have the rates). One area where I feel there is scope for improvement in rooms is to increase the numbers of charging points. With four mobiles and one electronic camera, charging them all from dusk to dawn was possible but could have been more convenient if one more charging point was available.

Hotel located at the center of the city of Kangra (just 2 km from the Kangra fort) offers among others large parking space, a small terrace garden and free Wi-Fi. The rooms were nicely designed and we never had any reason to complain regarding cleanliness of the room or the toiletries. The restaurant has an attached dining that serves a variety of meals which are more or less tasty. On the flipside the rooms are a bit less spacious, light in the room not enough (no white light) and breakfast a little overpriced. The staff were amiable, co-operative and service prompt.

It's the best Hotel The Grand Raj in Kangra which is half an hour drive from Dharamshala. Best location as it is just opposite to isbt bus stand and better to be here, little far than the traffic nightmare at mcleodganj and Dharamshala. Had opted a luxury room which had a balcony with beautiful Himalayan view. Rooms are super clean. Staff is courteous and prompt to your queries. Especially, general manager Mr. Munish was very helpful. Food is great.

Neat and clean Hotel The Grand Raj, equipped with all modern facilities. I like gym facility the most. Well behaved and excellent staff, gives the felling of home. Food is very nice and fresh. Presentation of every thing in Hotel The Grand Raj was excellent. It is secure to travel along with family too. Ample parking, terrace garden is another feature. I love to visit again and again.

The Hotel The Grand Raj is situated in the prime location due to which to and fro commutation became easy. The Hotel The Grand Raj was clean and the interior of the rooms was great. The room service was a bit slow but the food tasted very good. The best part of the Hotel The Grand Raj is the view from Hotel The Grand Raj rooms. Really enjoyed the stay here and it was value for money.

The Hotel The Grand Raj is the best in kangra, i only go there whenever i visit kangra. The food is alao good, the room service even accommodates if requested for satvik food. The rooms are comfortable. Good location, right in front of kangra bus stand, maximum 1-2 hours from train station, 30 minutes from kangra airport(probably, temples are nearby. In my opinion, best in kangra!

Really liked the Hotel The Grand Raj as it is located on the main road, easily accessible and clean & neat rooms. Reservations were promptly attended to and food quality of the restaurant is good. Minus is weather and no view of any real mountains. I am told that they have a property in Dharamshala, which has a better view with similar comforts at same price point.

Rooms were spacious & clean. Food was good though a little expensive. I heard alot about their food from my colleagues but it wasn't upto expectations. Room service is fast & good. I think it was overall a good experience.

The Hotel The Grand Raj is at central location of the city, walking distance from the bus stand. Food is good and the restaurant is also famous among the local people as it is only good restaurant nearby. The Hotel The Grand Raj also has adequate parking space. Rooms are neat and clean.

Hotel Grand Raj is best in Kangra town. The staff is courteous and premium rooms were spacius. The view was not that much great as dhauladhar range was not visible due to somke.
