Hotel The Nook

On a business trip I visited Madurai in the month of July 2017. I booked a room in this Hotel The Nook in online. The Hotel The Nook location was good with the surroundings. I personally liked this place. It was easily accessible to the local shops and much more. I traveled by my own vehicle. The parking area was limited. It was free of cost. The appearance was not so good from the outside and it was good with the interior looks. The front desk was just plain. I reached the Hotel The Nook at late night even at that time they did the booking process in a proper manner. Rooms were very comfortable with the facilities presented there. Everything was available with the basic amenities. It was a good experience. The room service was good in responding to me. They didn't provide any food facility in that Hotel The Nook. I had my meals outside the lodge. I don't know about the fun activities. The overall service was just OK and I indicate the Hotel The Nook executives to expand the parking area.

It's located near to Railway Station. You need to go to this Hotel The Nook from the west entrance gate (last platform). The rooms are centrally air-conditioned. The rooms are good, small but hygienic. Bed is comfortable. Bathrooms are clean. Food is good and reasonably priced. Service is good too but the television shows only limited, free Hindi channels, all regional Tamil channels. So the Hotel The Nook needs to improve on this. They should offer all language entertainment channels. They don't offer anything to eat after 3 pm till 7 pm. This means you cant have snack time after 3 pm but considering the price point, it's a good Hotel The Nook to stay.

We stayed in Book for 4 days. Location is good. Rooms are good but not spacious. Bathroom too small. Restaurant attached served only few items for breakfast. One of these days, we have to start early by 6 am. Earlier Day, we asked if any breakfast items can be packed/ said OK and gave a pocket. In the way we surprised see only bread slices without jam/butter No other items also. Anyone can eat this items? Very poor care. We can't suggest this Hotel The Nook for others.

This place is very good for the couple to stay. Clean rooms, ready response from reception, nice atmosphere to have good sleep. There is an in-house restaurant in 4 the floor providing food which is too good than nearby restaurant. But they took a long time to serve so we have to order yours one hour before, rooms are not spacious and congested It's around 2 km from the temple and due to heavily populated and small roads need to pick auto to reach the temple.

I was promised by make my trip that, my breakfast will be complimentary' when I upgraded to single premium luxury room. The manager also confirmed that. But during check out they asked me to pay for the breakfast. We had a samll argument regarding this issue. Eventually I paid for breakfast as I was out of time. This was really a bad experience. As for Hotel The Nook room, room is very samll even for compact Hotel The Nook room.

Never trust this Hotel The Nook in booking. Booked for double occupancy and gave a call to make confirmation on what time I will reach and later when I check-in they provided single occupancy room and a extra bed laying in floor stating its double occupancy so don't trust. Rather call them and have double confirmation on booking and the type of room provided. Its a business class Hotel The Nook with no business ethics.

The Hotel The Nook is clean. Even the higher budget Hotel The Nooks in madurai are not as clean as this Hotel The Nook. Equipment or fittings are well maintained. In madurai other Hotel The Nooks are poor in this maintenance. Excellent guest care by staff. Highest marks to staff members. Polite, professional and attention. In total we get more than what we pay.

Consider staying at this Hotel The Nook if intention is to avoid crowded citi centre. The property is compact, but maintains decent hygiene. The Hotel The Nook is located on main road, right opposite to a crematorium (we saw it only after checking in, from our room window. It has about 20 rooms, with decent ambience. Also decently priced.

The facilities, staff and foods in restaurant are good. The room charges are little bit high when compared to the Hotel The Nooks of other cities. It's worth but charged more.

Comfortable stay and good breakfast. Hot water was an issue but staff were eager to fix The issue.

Quality, Hotel surroundings, services, food, etc

Best location to stay and prompt service. Good restaurant and tasty food, Good organising for transportation to local visits. I like to stay next visit too .. Night dinner very tasty to hot serve the food and soup and fired rice. I will refer my friend to next visit.

A decent Hotel The Nook for reasonable price! The free breakfast was fabulous and room service was perfectly done :)

Our stay was really comfortable the Hotel The Nook rooms was soo good clean.

Am used to this Hotel The Nook, however it's been long. Suggest refurbishing. Food is good

No parking available, but they have mentioned in company as parking available.
