Hotel Thushara

Stay at this Hotel Thushara was very comfortable. I will describe it by the time I reached at the parking of Kovalam at Hawa Beach. Once I reached at the parking, I was stunned by the view of sea, parking was sea facing. I reached there by 6:15 am and my booking started at 1 pm. As per Hotel Thushara rule, they allowed me to keep my luggage in the Hotel Thushara. The Hotel Thushara is located just on to the beach, a little street will get you to Hotel Thushara from beach parking. Hotel send their staff to carry my luggage from the parking. As I reached earlier in Hotel Thushara, I didn't checked in but Hotel Thushara staff allowed me to use their pool, this was so cooperative. Later I checked in my room and it was a spacious, moderate room with balcony. There is no restaurant in this Hotel Thushara but they arrange your order in your room in sufficient time. The food which they served was so delicious, even a simple dal makhani was so yummy. Their staff was also very cooperative and well behaved. Overall my stay in this Hotel Thushara was really good and I would get any chance to come in Kovalam. I will definitely choose this Hotel Thushara for sure. Thank you.

The room is good. Washroom is very clean. We have mentioned 2 adults and a child. But we got only 2 small bed sheets. The way to reach the Hotel Thushara is very narrow but the staff helped us by carrying our luggage during check in and check out. Actually we enquirer them about self-driving vehicles an availability. But the manager said only in Trivandrum city we can get such vehicles. But near to their property there was a place which hire self drive vehicles. I feel it would be better if they have more knowledge about the area as we are new to that place. It would help us to enjoy more our trip and stay.

This property is located just about 50 meters away from the sea beach. Swimming pool is an added attraction in this spread-ed property. Kitchen facility also available though we did not try that. Only disadvantage of the Hotel Thushara is that you need to walk at-least 100 metres through the narrow lanes to reach the main entrance, though this a problem with most of the Hotel Thusharas here. But they provide porter to take care of your luggage. Though we stayed in economy rooms, the were spacious and very clean. Staff were cooperative. Each room has attached bathroom and balcony.

The Hotel Thushara is rated 3 star and we booked for 2 nights. Family of four with two children. The staff is courteous and helpful. The rooms are neat and clean. Location wise, it is not connected by road but there is a narrow cemented pavement from the road for about 300m. The staff ferries your luggage, hence not a hassle. Access to the beach is also good, a walk of around 100m only through a pathway. There is a restaurant right next door to the Hotel Thushara which suffices for catering, tea etc. Swimming pool is very well maintained. Overall, it is worth the money.

We are a team of 3 members. We booked ac room. We really enjoyed stay and the entire trip. The Hotel Thushara is just 3minutes away from the beach. There is no parking in the Hotel Thushara. We have to park our vehicles on the common parking ground. But no issues. Hotel representative came to the parking space to pay the parking fee and to guide us to the Hotel Thushara. Room is good and spacious. Pool is also good. Hotel does not have restaurant. But if we require food, they will arrange the parcel. There are so many restaurants nearby. So food is not an issue.

This Hotel Thushara is located just 70m walkable distance to hawa beach, kovalam. We were unable to locate the Hotel Thushara but the manager assisted and received near the beach. To reach the Hotel Thushara, you will have to walk about 150 meter. The Hotel Thushara facilities and ambience was good with zero noise. Staffs were very cooperative. Room service is available but intercom telephone facility was not there. Recommended to stay in Hotel Thushara if planning to explore kovalam and poovar.

We were a group of 7 who booked 3 rooms and even though the location is a bit inward and we have to park the vehicle in the parking ground of the beach, the rest of the facilities and amenities were excellent. The staff was were helpful and the best part was that the beach was very close and easily accessible. The room rent was on the higher side and this might be due to the season but the overall experience was great. Make sure to bring nylon wear to get into the pool.

This Hotel Thushara is pretty close to the beach 1 min of walking distance to lighthouse Beach. Breakfast was good dosas and idlis is there speciality, rooms very nice, pool clean and nice. Staff also very nice and helpful. Thanks for the helping me out to find a doctor and provide medical attention and guidance for a hospital immediately. Would recommend others be it a couple or family or friends you will enjoy the stay.

Hotel location is little bit inside from main road. The road to Hotel Thushara is very narrow and it is very hard to go Hotel Thushara at night. Also there is no parking for vehicle. Other thing are very nice.

Great location close to beautiful beach. Nice swimming pool. Friendly helpful staff. Clean space room with big balcony. Many shops and restaurants around. Possibility of awesome messages and yoga classes just on corner. Tasty breakfast. Enjoying our stay will come back next year.

The Hotel Thushara is situated perfectly on the beach and away from the noise, much like Schrodinger's cat. A perfect swimming pool surrounded by trees and neat rooms accompanied by a very friendly management makes the stay worthwhile. Ticks of all the right boxes and the price is way cheaper compared to the others.

No in house restaurant. Can give u tea by calling on reception. Very nearby or can say almost on the hawa beach. Overall good stay.

Not accessible by taxi have to walk a bit

It was nice but the location was very difficult to find out. And there was no restaurant in the Hotel Thushara. More over they are provide coffee and tea. They are given good value of money. And good in hospitality.

Location is very good. Hotel manager is very polite. Service also super. The way of Hotel Thushara is not good. No car Parking. Swimming pool is very neat. Walkable distance to beach. They giving free breakfast, it is normal, then rooms are neat. We can prefer to our friends. Location of the Hotel Thushara is silent. Good to stay.

Overall good to stay in the Hotel

Cons access: Road narrow, parking provided at a distant public place, no blanket, no restaurant within premises. Pros: neat and clean, well maintained, nice pool (but depth is more than 5 feet, not suitable for kids- kids section so small), very near to beach. Word of caution no life guard at pool, depth variation not earmarked.
