Hotel Tibet

The location is excellent. The rooms/ lobbies/ corridor etc are well decorated in tibetan style. Hotel staff are really cordial. Room service is excellent. The snow-lion restaurant at the ground floor of this Hotel Tibet is good. Particularly the breakfast is excellent. The only issue is that the rooms are real cold and during these December end you will simply freeze. I think that they should provide some heating arrangement. You can have hot water in the toilet 24 hours. We requested to a lot a room with scenic view. They helped us allotting a room with breathtaking view of Mt. Kanchenjhunga.

Hotel Tibet is located in upper tibet road opposite of Fire station. Location is highly convenient as local taxi stand for local sight seeing as well as for tsangu & Nathula is left side of Hotel Tibet (1mnt walking distance), SNT bus stand is nearby & MG marg is walking distance. Gangtok Ropeway is around. 5km from Hotel Tibet. Rooms are good & cozy, one can view the peak of Kanchenjunga from the windows (prefer the back side rooms, not the front ones as front will face the road), behaviour of staff

Location: Centrally located with motor stand, local bus stand, main market, hospital located within half a kilometer radius. My room was airy and open on all sides with a grand view of the mountains. ROOM had the old world charm with traditional decor. Very polite and prompt service by all the staff. As far as I remember, in many Hotel Tibets that I have stayed it was the first time I could get my bed tea at 6 am.

Very neat and clean room, the location of Hotel Tibet is very good. It is near the SNT bus stop and also near to MG road. My experience with this Hotel Tibet was awesome. Co operative staff, quick service and peaceful environment. The most important thing is that you can reach the Hotel Tibet by public conveyance. It also very near to Sikkim High Court.

5 minutes walking distance from famous MG Marg this old Hotel Tibet of Gangtok is a at good location with awesome traditional look room is well decorated,clean, gives you a chance to view the peak of Kanchenjunga on a sunny morning. Restaurant has a wide range of food availability.. overall it was a pleasant stay.Thank you Make my trip.

Hotel Tibet in Gangtok needs no introduction to tourists. A highly reputed Hotel Tibet within walking distance to MG road. The staff is extremely courteous and helpful. Rooms are clean and spacious with all facilities available. The in house restaurant serves the most authentic time in dishes and other dishes as well.

Don't forget to have the tandoori chicken from the Hotel Tibet kitchen. It is delicious.
Stunning views of the hills. Credits for up keep and maintenance of minutest details go to the last member of the Hotel Tibet staff. They seem to maintain the Hotel Tibet with such dedication as if it is there own house.

Had a great stay. Things were pretty much the same as expected and seemed in the pictures. Had to go out in search for food since the kitchen opens between 9- 9-30 pm.

We reached Hotel Tibbet in Gangtok at 8 PM on 10th December. We were received by them and helped us to shift luggage to the room. Room was good. It's recommended for others to stay there. It's an economy class package and very good. Thank you

Bathroom fittings need repairing not worth 3-star property probably 1-star in today's modern scenario.

Everything is good. Food was tasty. We enjoyed our stay there. Room service and staff were very good.
