Hotel Tulsi

This property is located right behind or attached to Surat's most popular vegetarian restaurant, Sarvottam. This property also has their own restaurant, Tulsi, and it has amazing food too. The staff was very nice and accommodated all our requests. There is a no smoking sign in every room, but it looks like some people really do not follow the signs, and so some of the rooms do smell of smoke even though their policy is strict no smoking. we took a double bedroom since we ended up coming in earlier than intended, and our allotted room was not available. Since the property is located right ndxt to the busiest road, it is necessary to ask room be serviced daily else there would be a lot of dust in your room. One complaint i had was that they could definitely do with better towels since most towels even though they washed looked old and not pleasant to use. what i did not realize is that there is a vegetable market right in front of this property where vendors are lined up along the roadside. This feeling was unpleasant since the vendors threw so much trash by the roadside right where you exited the Hotel Tulsi to catch a cab. overall, it is a decent Hotel Tulsi for the price I paid. The location is very convenient to most textile markets, infact some are even walkable.

The only problem with the stay is that they don't have a breakfast option or facility i guess. They have their own restaurant below the Hotel Tulsi but it opens around 11:15 am which is almost brunch time. The crockery used for serving tea was also very old and broken. There is a scope of improvement in this area. Otherwise rooms are good.

Room is clean and modern. Service is excellent. They have a big restaurant beside which serves delicious thali and other pure veg dishes. Only issue we faced is room service guys don’t pick the calls when called

Stay was gud and ambiance was super. It is better improve them in providing better soaps in washroom and also providing of breakfast. If tulsi group develop these issue. Then it will be very happy for customers

Location is near station and shopping market also close so good for family Hotel Tulsi should try providing breakfast as there are restaurants nearby for breakfast early in the morning

The Hotel Tulsi was good but there is no facility for ppl to eat inside the room, the Hotel Tulsi staff completely refused that we can’t eat in the room. Nothing thanks

Hotel management was subpar and staff is very simple and helpful.
