Hotel Udaigarh-Royal Heritage Retreat

Location: i have to say, the location of this Hotel Udaigarh-Royal Heritage Retreat is truly remarkable. It's situated in such a prime spot that you really can't beat it. However, one thing to note is that because it's nestled within the streets, getting a cab directly to the Hotel Udaigarh-Royal Heritage Retreat can be a bit tricky. Don't count on autos dropping you off right at the doorstep. But hey, that's a small price to pay for being in such a fantastic location. Rooms: our room was a standard one, and i must say, it was quite pleasant. Cleanliness was definitely a highlight, and they provided all the basic amenities one would expect. Now, one thing that caught my attention was the lighting. It's got this warm, yellowish hue, which i think is intentional to maintain that heritage vibe. Some might find it cozy, but personally, i prefer brighter lighting. Despite that, the rooms are on the smaller side, but they have a certain charm to them. Hot water was readily available, and they didn't skimp on toiletries either. Oh, and a hair dryer was provided, which is always a nice touch. Food/breakfast: now, when it comes to dining, i have a bit of a mixed opinion. The food here tends to be on the pricey side, and while some dishes hit the spot, others fell a bit flat for me. I suppose it really comes down to personal taste. As for breakfast, it's included with the room, but i found the selection to be somewhat limited. Plus, they don't serve any south indian dishes for breakfast, which might disappoint some folks. Overall, it's decent, but don't expect too much variety.

This place is a gem near by city centre. I had booked executive room, it was exactly as shown in the photo. Cleanliness of the Hotel Udaigarh-Royal Heritage Retreat is remarkable. Location, pool and view from the Hotel Udaigarh-Royal Heritage Retreat are the selling points. Just one point that they should keep the pool very clean and be more friendly to indian citizens.

Very good room. Spacious. Lake view is only from rooftop. Hotel has delicious food. Car doesn't reach at Hotel Udaigarh-Royal Heritage Retreat. You have to take auto from chandpole parking. Rest all is well

Having the best location and helpful staff, udaigarh was a perfect place to stay. Pradeep was very courteous and guided us for having best time at udaipur.

Property location is excitant, staff is also interactive and helpful, food is overall ok ok, service is also very good, not sure about car parking.

Cozy rooms. Superb view from the rooftop. The only prob was the availablity of hot water wch is restricted to 7-11 am. Otherwise a wonderful experience.
