HOTEL UDAY RESIDENCY

Location is very near to temple 5 mins walk. Easy access and easy to find. AC and hot water everything good, Room neat and clean. When we visit Mantralayam we will stay there only.

Stay is pretty close to the temple and does not have any food options. Rooms are neat and clean. For parking we had to do it slightly away as the road to the hotel is very narrow

Property was good. It would be nice if they provide complimentary breakfast .

good stay but small room. nice people around , slightly overpriced for the services offered. Close to Matha, can explore adding more amenities to justify the price

Almost all the hotels are in narrow lanes but ensure nice stay. The temple is located just three minute's walk. The restaurants are all near the temple serving standard food.

This is one of the better rooms available near to the temple matt that has big parking. Of course, the lane to enter the hotel is extremely narrow and will need some skills and patience to reach till the hotel entrance/parking.

The hotel is situated very near to the main temple. So its convenient to get around. But the hotel is in a very narrow street ( not road ). If you are driving your own car, it'd be hard to find a parking. You may want to check with the front-desk to see if they can help. Hotel had a working lift/elevator. Front-office staff was very friendly & helpful. Room was spacious, washrooms were very neat and we got hot water all the time. However, to get AC they proposed to charge ₹500/night. We declined as in October, fans in the room were enough. Weather was good. But the cost of the room 2 x 2 bed room was very expensive. Vegetarian restaurants near by and to the main temple were all very average. Manthralayam auto/cab drivers are running a racket where Uber/Ola don't work/support. You are dependent on the local auto/cab drivers. Do negotiate to get good rates.

Hospitality - Excellent Location - Very near to temple Food - No restaurant within the hotel, you have to get the food outside Tea and Coffee - Available from nearby shop (Room Service) Parking - Available, but adventurous. Better handover the vehicle keys to them so that they will park it for you. Overall - pleasant stay, very good staff. Note: Consider it from a pilgrimage perspective not a leisure trip.

Nice, clean rooms and location is great as well. All equipment was working fine. Got hot water when needed.

Very neat and clean close to Mandir but in a narrow lane. Room size mentioned in MMT is 100 sqft but actual size is 12*16 (192 sqft). No restaurant. Bed & Rest room are clean. Closet is fixed very close to wall causing discomfort. Hundreds of lodges available around UDAYA

Property is very near to Raghavendra Mutt. Food will not be available in the property. Nearby restaurants and shops are there. Neat bathroom, hot water et., they could have provided a hot water kettle.

Had gone as part of pilgrimage with aged people, very convenient, clean and good family place. Service also were very good.
