Hotel Valley View

Awful experience. Booked this hotel for my parents, the hotel people gave them a room where the bedsheets were torn, the walls were dampened and there was no WiFi in the hotel. In the washroom the shower didn't even have a cap, the taps in the washbasin were broken. When my parents complained, the hotel people said then upgrade to a better room and pay the difference. When they objected that these are basic asks to get proper bedsheets, taps, clean rooms, etc. the receptionist and the hotel people insulted them by saying "If you pay for Alto, and expect Mercedes, you will suffer only na. " :) Awful awful experience

Location is very good but upkeep is not upto mark. The owner and support staff are caring. Food is good. Overall it was not worth what we paid to MMT.

manager was arguing nature person.instead of accepting that his food was poor ,he started comparing his food with five star hotel his food we couldn't enjoy our trip that much. hope mmt will keep in mind these things while contract renewal.

Great location, right in the highway and yet quiet as it is a few hundred metres from the main town. Our room has large French windows that gave a wonderful view of the valley and the distant Banderpoonch snow clad peaks. The food was homely and tasty, reasonably priced. The manager Mr Rawat and his family, who stayed on the premises, were friendly and helpful. Service hours for food was 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Room service also available, but the view from the restaurant was lovely. The room was large and well furnished. The bathroom was also large, but was missing a shower, requiring a 'bucket bath'. Hot water was available all the time, except when there was power failure. There was a back up generator but not enough to power the water heater.

Location was okay, parking available as well, view was magnificent from the rooms. Food was decent. The hotel did have power issues though, so geyser and kettle were of no use. Climb to the rooms was very steep, so check for alternatives if travelling with senior citizens or having knee issues.

5 star for the scenery view, food and staff behaviour. 2 star for steep stairs, faulty cistern in the rooms.

They had great hospitality and friendly staff. The food was great too. We had a lovely time spending here.

Rooms are without carpet & slippers. Room heaters extra charge. Food was great and the food serving staff behaviour was excellent. The location of the hotel is good with clean maintenance
