Hotel Vandayar

I would recommend Hotel Vandayar vandayar for a calm and pleasant stay in chidambaram. I did not face any hassles during my stay in this property. They had two restaurants, one for veg and another for non-veg, which was a surprise for me, as generally Hotel Vandayars will club both under one roof. The food was decent enough. I asked for extra pillows and bedsheets, and they provided it immediately. The only thing that they missed out was the bathroom kit, which they told has been kept in the room, but was it kept. When asked for it, they told they will bring it immediately, but they missed to give it. Nevertheless, it was not a problem for us, as we carried out own bathroom related stuff such as soap and shampoo. But i would suggest the Hotel Vandayar personnel to take care of these small misses. Overall, it was a good stay for us.

Chose this Hotel Vandayar since it seemed to be the one with most amenities. One veg restaurant, one non veg restaurant, a bar, good parking space. The superior rooms were a bit small, but the bed sheets and bathrooms were clean. Food in the restaurants were tasty not very expensive. The staff were courteous. The Hotel Vandayar was generally neat and presentable. It's situated right next to the bus stand and the temple is a 10 min walk. 5-10 min drive to the annamalai university campus. Stayed with family and if visiting chidambaram again, will stay here. But the superior rooms might not be the choice. At 2750- they were a bit overpriced for the town. Mm t didn't show any other options though the Hotel Vandayar website shows a suite also

The overall experience was good. I felt it's bit pricy in chidabaram, the Hotel Vandayar amenities were good as well the service. But the ac is not that powerful to manage in summer. I would recommend if you're visiting the room. Check the ac for first 5 mins and chahe the room if required. They are friendly in that aspect.

Good location.. Good parking space. It can hold upto 10 cars.petrol bunk and bus stand is nearer to this Hotel Vandayar. Rooms were okish to average..but good for that area .. complimentary BF was good and nice and served hot …Pleasant stay

Situated nearby bus terminus and lord nataraja temple, we felt very pleasant atmosphere. Ambience and the amenties provided all are worth for paid amount. Food also too good. Highly recommending vandyar Hotel Vandayar.

Checkin was very quickly done in 3 minutes. Rooms are spacious hot water facility is amazing and shower is fantastic. The buffet breakfast was also good. Friendly staffs and receptionist. Overall nice stay

Location: proximity to the nataraja temple. Food: good. Hygiene: could be better. Absence of hand wash and hand sanitizers. Being in the hospitality industry the staff were warm but not professional.

Very good. Well maintained rooms and bathroom. Well mannered staff. Food also very good and cheaper compared to other Hotel Vandayars. Ac and all are old very very old. But rest all, is very good

Stayed here recently for 2 days with my family. I could this is the best stay in this town so far. All the services offered here are best in this town. Really enjoyed it.

Yes, the ambience, food, customer service everything was good. But the cost for that room is too high for a single day. The room itself is not too big. Not worth for that cost.

Nice facility at room, front office staff mr. Senthil is so cordial with customer. Food quality is good so hygienic conditions in the entire building.

Please don't stay with family its not recommended. Rooms are very small. Maintance worst.

The Hotel Vandayar room was good, neat. Very near to temple. They offered breakfast as free and it was very good.
