Hotel Vasanth Vihar

Chikmagalur is not a very urbanized hill station, its at the foot hills. Hence, keep your expectations low and you wouldnt regret at all. We visited Chikmagalur on a long week end from Bangalore and stayed at Hotel Vasanth Vihar. The room was clean and had all basic amenities. If only they could have an electric kettle. The room and the attached Bath room were clean. The Hotel Vasanth Vihar is quite near to the start of the hills and only a small drive of 8-10 kms will make you reach the place where the hill drive starts. The food and the complimentary break fast at the Hotel Vasanth Vihar was quite good. My kid doesn't like spice at all in her food, and they prepared the dinner just to her liking. Hotel staff are very welcoming and warm. An over all good experience of staying at the Hotel Vasanth Vihar.

Stayed in 2 rooms king room and executive with spouse, 2 children and my parents. Very clean and spacious, well maintained rooms. Room service excellent especially a boy Karthik who made umpteen trips for room service best, lunch dinner snacks with a smile each time. Food was extremely tasty we tasted veg fried rice, curd rice, chapati, paneer butter masala, green peas masala, onion pakoda, veg crispy. Over 3 days. Only thing was the attached restaurant has a bar and so we were not comfortable and hence ordered room service. In addition, best is delivered to room with option of either idli to vada or puri or veg pulav per person. But the Puri was pretty big in size. Overall, me and my family really enjoyed the stay.

Hotel is located on a good location. Easily accessible with restaurants, etc. Initially I was having doubt about the bar in this Hotel Vasanth Vihar, as I was about to go with my family. But believe me you would not see the presence of bar, as it is present in next building. Car parking was good with security. 24 hours CCTV surveillance, hot water, Room Service made our stay comfortable. Am mainly writing this review for those family or couples who are having doubts. It is a decent Hotel Vasanth Vihar for the amount you pay. Overall it is worthy enough to spend few thousands for couple of days stay.

As I said the early room was good. But back fast is too less. Oyo Rooms provides buffet in this range. Hotel ppl charged extra charge to early check-in. Oyo Rooms excludes this part. Hotel Location is good but not for leisure as it is situated in the main city. No hill station feeling is there. But normal stay is good. Ordered Food quality n quantity is good.
Room was good. They take extra charge for slightly early check-in. Breakfast is very limited in quantity and in options.

Room was very neat and luxury. Even we booked for normal room we got air conditioned room, 24 hours hot water they provided. Parking place it was convenient and one staff was always taking care of vehicles parked. Food was really Tasty, First of all we should say thanks to staff, who is doing their job properly with fast and politely. Room they kept just like as new. Breakfast was superb, only we find they have change every day breakfast menu. My whole family enjoyed the stay.

Whether you are travelling solo/friends or with family you can choose this Hotel Vasanth Vihar to stay even for multiple days. Room are well maintained, staff's responds to your request and good amenities also variety of shops in a radius of 2 km. People traveling with family may not find the restaurant of this Hotel Vasanth Vihar comfortable since it is a bar cum restaurant. Table cloths and plates of the restaurant is not at all clean. Overall it was a good stay for us.

Most of the staffs wearing mask having social distance. Sanitizer was available at reception! temperature check was missing! overall it was good ! nice, clean rooms! staff was good n well behaved! 4 wheeler parking available inside the premises but sometimes congusted. Food we did not try it's better you explore different food in the nearby places.

Very good place to stay. Staffs are very nice helping people. Good place to stay in low budget.

We have not faced any problems. It was okay. Car parking is there. Restaurants in the other block. However, several restaurants are nearby, so we can choose it.

Nice stay and cleanliness at the location.

The room was spacious and had furnitures and tv. Beds were comfortable and staff was very cooperative.

Executive room as the name says was actually executive. One need not carry any toiletries as everything will be provided by the Hotel Vasanth Vihar. They also give 1 complimentary water bottle a day. Room food service is also available and can facility is also available on demand

It was a reasonable stay in vasanth vihar Hotel Vasanth Vihar rooms were clean with all the basis necessities provided. Staff was also good and co operative. An overall good stay in a reasonable budget

I was here for just 1 night and it was an average stay.
Although there was nothing wrong with the Hotel Vasanth Vihar or room, the stay was average.

The rooms are clean, staff is friendly, ample space for parking and all the basic amenities are available.
Located at a prime location and staff was super friendly extremely happy with the service.

Service was excellent, food quality was good, best you can get in reasonable price.

The stay was good and staff behaviour was excellent. The gave the correct guidence and location map for visiting the major sites and the best time to visit those. Thank you for the wonderful stay
