HOTEL VIRASAT - E - PUNJAB

I had a very bad experience at this hotel and would NOT recommend it to anyone. Location: The hotel is extremely hard to find. Google Maps took me to multiple dead ends, and I had to ask several locals to finally reach the place. What made things worse was that the hotel staff did not answer my repeated calls when I was lost and trying to find the location. Check-in Experience: The receptionist was extremely rude and unhelpful from the beginning. No welcome, no courtesy – Room Condition: • The bedsheets were visibly dirty and stained. • The pillows looked old, dirty, and had yellow stains. • The bucket in the bathroom was broken, and so was the towel rail. • The dustbin hadn’t been cleaned and was already dirty when I entered. • No towel, no soap, no intercom instructions, and no Wi-Fi password was provided. I had to go to the reception personally and ask for every single basic item. When I asked to change the room, they rudely told me, “This is the only room available. We cannot change anything or provide another room.” They even refused to change the bedsheets or clean the room saying that this is the only room available while i could clearly see most of the rooms at this hotel vacant. This was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had. Poor service, dirty rooms, and a complete lack of hospitality. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

my stay at the hotel was very pleasant and comfortable.The hosts also live in same property which is in the central location of Anandpur sahib.The staff is very helpful

Hotel is good, food sevices not upto the mark. Despite ordering the breakfast the night before we were told in the morning that this particular item will not be available.

Good stay, clean hotel, and friendly staff, location abit hidden

The hotel located at easy and good place, hygiene was amazing there in hotel. A lot of plaace for parking and the room quality was excellent, i personally love this hotel in my life first time and food menu prices are not so high like other hotels. My experience in this hotel was precious.

The location is good and food quality was also good but water supply was poor and tv was not working.

Staff is perfectly courteous and responsive. Housekeeping is absolutely atrocious. Wash rooms very small in size, tough constructed quality is good were horribly smelly and plumbing needs to be looked into for enhancing flow of water supply. Linen is filthy, unhygienic and could not be put to use. The hotel is yet to make dining hall arrangements and food services are limited to the room. Quality of tea served was very poor. Mr tejbir singh, who supervises the property himself had pleasing manners and explained us visiting attractions in anandpur sahib in detail.

The owner provided a very warm hospitality

Rooms are old and needs repair work. Washrooms are not well maintained. Towels are smelly and not in usable condition. It was not comfortable experience.

Visited with the family for a night stay, the owners family running it themselves, and the stay was ok, rooms are average! near to anandpur sahib gurudwara

Excellent service and great comfort

Hotel virasat -e-punjab is the closest in proximity to virasat e khalsa museum & gurudwara keshgarh sahib and other holy gurudwaras. The close proximity to holy places coupled with superb ambience of the hotel made our stay a truly blissful one. The flavor of food served was closest to home made preparation. The health conscious effort behind the preparations outclassed any five star preparation. Rooms were well equipped and the mattresses on beds were ultra comfortable. The bathroom fittings were ultra modern. I could not believe my good luck that for such a minimal amount i was getting so much facilities. Even parking was a drive in facility. Superb stay and a truly everlasting memories of a safe, healthy and comfortable stay.

Good service, but as per city price title high

There was total power breakdown at the time of check-in and neither any gen-set or any other power back-up was available. You can just imagine the condition of any guest in this hot weather. No trained bearer or cook is there.

They have comfortable rooms and host makes sure you feel homely. Breakfast was super tasty. Clean rooms, sheets and washroom. Host and staff are humble and very soft spoken. All in all perfect stay.
