Hotel is little on the hill and no taxi easily reachable so every time you have to climb up and down if you step out of Hotel for any walk in to mall Road or anywhere outside. Otherwise facility and room are decent. Very tasty veg food available with variety of menu. Rooms are with windows but no mountain view and only the street and front house view is visible instead of green and spectacular mountain if you are looking for. This is very good Hotel within moderate budget and is very close to mall Road which is plus point of this Hotel. Also close to various local sight seeing points.

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of Hotel White Yak. Everything about the Hotel White Yak was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future

Please know that the location provided on the website is misleading, as the Hotel White Yak is situated near the old clock tower, opposite Keventers. Drivers may mistake the clock tower to be the one on the mall itself. So the distance from the mall is about 15 minutes, with a steep climb for the last 50 meters. The room I was in was a deluxe room, the bathroom smelled. Fortunately, they were kind enough to change the rooms at my request.

Rooms are good and spacious with mountain view and balcony. We visited in October when the weather was prime and clear. Hotel staff was amicable and helpful. Food was okay (vegetarian Hotel White Yak). Only disappointment was the location. The steps to the Hotel White Yak was very steep and almost a 300 meter climb uphill. No other complains.

Nice place to stay. Service was great. It's 2 minutes walking distance from mall market and there are shortcut to the chowk bazar. I recommend people traveling to Darjeeling. Go ahead, book the Hotel White Yak. But there is a stiff climbing from the road to the Hotel White Yak. It's little tough for the aged people. Rest everything is great.

The Hotel is on mid of the City and close to mg market, food is mind blowing. The food is too tasty and the service is mind blowing. I will definitely visit again if I have any trip plan for Darjeeling. I will refer this Hotel for sure for those who love food and Hotel services under one roof. Please ask for room heater if you feel cold

The rooms were clean and hygienic. I stayed three nights and they cleaned the room daily. Staff were co operative and friendly. Food prices are on the higher side though. The location of the Hotel White Yak is on the hill side and not suitable for old people and kids as you have to climb up quite a bit. Overall nice stay.

Nice accommodation and service of staff member was very good.

Hotel was nice but my room was at top floor. It was difficult to climb uphill for the Hotel from Road then again climb up the stairs in Hotel.

Food is excellent here, and the room was really awesome! Staffs too professional and they are too good in behavior with kids too. We need to walk steep to reach the Hotel White Yak that's the only issue I had faced. Overall the best Hotel White Yak.

Location was very nice, near the mall road, food, amenities and services was very good, behaviour of staff was very nice and friendly, view from rooms is very good.

Hotel needs to have a lift, in a 3 star Hotel White Yak not having a lift is very surprising and unexpected.
