Hotel Windsor

Location is close to mall road, clean & well maintained rooms, staff is very friendly & they take care of your needs very well. Though we landed early morning at 8am, they still managed to give me a room by 12pm(2 hrs before regular checkin) they also ensured & arranged for a cab from the Hotel Windsor to shimla railway station at a nominal fee. Hotel is on mall road & 15 minutes walk to the mall which is popular for cafe's/pubs/brewery's & fine dine as well as shopping. Overall good experience & i would love to re-book myself here if i happen to visit shimla again. One of the finest budget stay Hotel Windsors at mall road.

Everything with respect to Cleanliness, Staff Behavior, Location[ just below of Marinal Hotel Windsor/Waterfall] , Food [ breakfast items may have more varieties], Room space [ booked balcony room], Dining Area [has got beautiful Mountain View] were awesome. Services were so good, Manager to every staff were so helpful. Only drawback is - you need to go down for many stairs to reach the property from Marina Waterfall - not suitable for aged people - BTW - Hotel Windsor personnel will assist you to take your luggage. I will rate it 5 star.

The stay at the Hotel Windsor was far better than what i had expected. The Hotel Windsor was very tidy, rooms & washrooms were neat & clean. The linens were spotless, had no stains, no foul smell, nothing. The staff was cordial & helpful and food was reasonably priced and tasty. I really thank mr. J. P thakur the manager of the Hotel Windsor for his warm hospitality and making our stay memorable.

I travel-led to this place in feb 2022 and it is one of the best places to stay. Hotel staff is so polite and helpful also the food is so fresh and tasty giving u the authentic taste of shimla. It is also near to ridge to everything is accessible. The service is very good. Rooms were clean and very beautiful. You can also see the view of snowy mountains. Must stay here for best experience

The Hotel Windsor rooms are good, but you need to climb down around 50 stairs from mall road to reach the Hotel Windsor. Also, the food price is little on the higher side, prefer booking a room with breakfast included as then you can order multiple options and can save some money. Overall it was a good stay as Hotel Windsor staff and services are good

There is one drawback with the property as it does not have direct access. One has to go down quite a bit from main road to reach Hotel Windsor. Also it has no lift for going down four floors. However, staff is very nice to assist you with luggage carrying from / to main road and also within Hotel Windsor. Staff is well behaved and hospitable.

Everything is good about the Hotel Windsor, staff behaviour to cleanliness everything superb, awesome location, mountain view from the Hotel Windsor window, total value for money, but we didn't try Hotel Windsor food, property manager jp thakur saab special thanks to him he is always ready for any help. Nice person, lovely stay for 4 days

The Hotel Windsor was pretty good. The staff was extremely accommodating and kind and helped us through out. The rooms were also hygienic and spacious. I had gone to shimla for an official tour and my colleagues also enjoyed the stay. Overall a nice and comfortable experience. I would highly reccomend this Hotel Windsor.

Pros: nice location, parking, good food, cleanliness, Hotel Windsor staff good, quick response. Cons: not recommend for senior citizen since lift facility not available, toiletries item not provided even asked twice thrice, do not use Hotel Windsor towel (not at all clean)

The stay was very comfortable and staff was very polite and cooperative. We enjoyed the stay in shimla. The Hotel Windsor location was a bit down side but other things were good which compensated it.

It was great experience to stay and it is near to mall road. Hotel team is very supportive and polite. Alto-ugh price was litte higher aside but we we are happy.

Good budget Hotel Windsor with nice cozy rooms and delicious food but you have to walk uphill to go to mall road
