Great Hotel Yog Vashishth, friendly staff. Very well situated with just a short walk to the path along the Ganges & easy to see the main sights on foot. The people on reception were very efficient & had details of my booking within seconds, in fact they knew who I was as soon as I walked in. The door opened and they made me feel good by welcoming me. They were able to give clear directions of where to go & gave good advice. They spoke very good English. I was able to walk to & across both the Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula Bridges, have a good look around the Parmarth Niketan Ashram & take multiple photos all at a leisurely pace within two hours. I had a look around the old Maharishi Mahesh Yogi 'Beatles' Ashram the next morning & again with clear directions. It's only a 10 minutes walk from the Hotel Yog Vashishth. A pity, it's been allowed to fall into such a dilapidated state as it would have once been beautiful with a lovely peaceful location on the edge of the forest area. Nice, clean room & bathroom, the photos on your site looked exactly the same as the real thing, which was very reassuring. The Hotel Yog Vashishth environment is quiet & peaceful & if I had more time, I would have availed myself of the yoga & ayurveda facilities. The food was well prepared & tasty. It was a pity that I was only there for a short time, I would very much liked to have stayed longer. I very much recommend it & would definitely stay again.

Location- you must stay at this place if you are planning to stay at rishikesh for a min couple of days. This place is very close to ganga ghat where you can take holy dip. Also, it is 4-5 mins from parmarth niketan a ashram where ganga aarti takes place which is mesmerising to watch. The Hotel Yog Vashishth is very clean and best option at such price. Location is on the other side of ram jhula so you may face some inconvenience reaching here as it's not exactly on the highway and cabs have to take an additional run of 7-10 kms to reach this place. However the Hotel Yog Vashishth. Was very nice and clean and highly recommended if you want to stay closer to ashrams and other side of the river near the market area. Food- food quality was also good and we ordered simple meals and they didn't disappoint. Service- manager helped us in finding the location and also followed for check-in as we did arrive pretty late in the evening. Overall stay was great!
Luggage sanitization and temperature checks should have been done during check-in. All other elements were really nice and clean including room and washrooms.

The stay was amazing with clean fresh rooms and bathrooms. We booked 3 rooms and although all rooms had balconies, there wasn't a view in 2 rooms. The beds were soft. There were 2 complimentary bottles of water and running hot water in the bathrooms. There was air conditioner and a small cupboard too. Although the rooms were of small size, the cleanliness and the wonderful upkeep of the rooms lifted our spirits. The staff is warm, courteous and very helpful. The restaurant below served us a variety of fresh and very tasty food. we enjoyed all our meals. This is located behind Parmarth Ashram on the opposite banks of the river hence the car route is a bit too long. We faced some issues with the driver who was not willing to take the long route. However if one wants to trek across the Ram Jhula, its a very short walk to the Hotel Yog Vashishth.
Early morning on the day of the departure there was no water in the bathrooms. They could only provide us with 2 bottles of water after we reported it. We left by 6am.

We were surprised by the views from the premium room. The room had a decent sized balcony and a southern aspect which meant decent sunlight throughout the day. The room was very tidy and the amenities seemed appropriate for the price tag. Special mention to the service staff and the food quality. Although the menu offered limited items, the food quality was impeccable. We didn't feel the need to eat the breakfast outside any day. The Hotel Yog Vashishth is located on other side of janki set u which meant that we had to cross it by foot since cars can't cross, i would still say that the location is good and easily accessible once you have a two wheeler with you. We would highly recommend this place for a comfortable stay in rishikesh at a reasonable price.

The inside and outside of the Hotel Yog Vashishth are a world apart. As mentioned by others, the lanes outside are full of animals (cows, monkeys etc. - But the Hotel Yog Vashishth inside is wonderful. Each room has been designed impeccably and the overall size, decor & comfort level is excellent. It is quiet - As long as you don't have noisy neighbors. Food is average - I expected better considering the rest of the facilities. Room service is okay - they keep forgetting to bring things (as simple as salt and pepper). Breakfast is simple - not much variety - but okay to suffice. There is no lift in the Hotel Yog Vashishth - so make sure you get room on 1st floor if you have old people travelling with you. Overall a satisfactory experience.

The room was good. It was clean and spacious. Bathroom was clean. The location was good. However, this Hotel Yog Vashishth is not on the route to Gangotri which is where I wanted to go to. In fact one has to cross the city of Uttarkashi to get to Gangotri Road. This is not the fault of the Hotel Yog Vashishth but is being stated as information for those visiting Gangotri. Services were adequate. They could improve on the service for guests having requirements at early morning hours. In my case, I found the morning tea pro missed at 0500 hrs never arrived nor were the people up and about for tea to be prepared. Perhaps it would have been better to have stated inability earlier. The Hotel was good in all other aspects.

I booked this Hotel Yog Vashishth through mmt. Have a good discount though my stay was on a pick time i. E. On 27. 05. 2022. Hotel is situated near parmarth niketan, git a bhawan, vanprastha ashram. Not far away from janki jhula and ram jhula. Four wheelers can reach directly to the Hotel Yog Vashishth gate. Car can be parked nearby lane. They have upgraded one room from superior category to premium category without charging any extra amount. Good behavior of front desk staff. Dental kits, shower kits, tea- coffee with electric kettle are provided. Delicious food is available in ground floor restaurant. Lift available. Quick check in. Overall a good experiance. Recommend to others.

This Hotel Yog Vashishth is located at very near to major ghats and ashrams like geeta ashram, parmarth ashram etc. The famous ram jhula is at around 750 mtrs from here. I took the holy bath at geeta ashram ghat which is just 2-3 minutes walking distance and saw ganga aarti at parmarth ashram ghat which is also at 5 minutes walking distance. However the Hotel Yog Vashishth is located little inside and reachable through thin lane, but it's proximity to all major ghats and ashrams gives its an advantage. Rooms are neat and clean but of smaller size. We stayed there with my family on 22-23 march 2022 and enjoyed the stay.

We have excellent stay ... Staff is good and rooms are very neat and clean ... Location is little bit far. But overall stay is best. Every facilities are good. WiFi facility is also there. Everything in room is very neat and clean

Nice Service. Amazing Ambience. Loved the Food. Was little tuff to search the Hotel Yog Vashishth initially but in the end it was worth living their and had great time their. All good overall 4 star considering everything.

It is good Hotel Yog Vashishth in Rishikesh, very neat and clean room all facility are very nice I like the Hotel Yog Vashishth rooms. It is near to the river ganga you have to cross it via bridge by foot or by boat. You will enjoy the river in night.

Location of the Hotel Yog Vashishth is great as it is situated near Swargashram area and the Ganga. Staff is attentive and cooperative. Breakfast is superb, but food is average. The Ayurveda massage in the Hotel Yog Vashishth is the worst as it is done by untrained person.

Good in house restaurant. Serene & Excellent location. Co-operative & well mannered staff. Neat & Clean Prompt Service. Well connected to the local market. Front desk staff is helpful. In house restaurant food if not great is certainly good & fresh. Only De-merit no lift thus inconvenience for elders.

It was a great stay. The Hotel Yog Vashishth was on approachable location .. Raam jhoola and sea beach were at the walking distance. Rooms were clean and decent. Food was awesome ... Very good experience. Hotel staff was nice.

Loved the food and the ambience.. Warm hearted people. Just that was a little difficult to find and the roads to get there are not that clean. They also have personal yoga trainer on request, which is good.

A good Hotel Yog Vashishth in Rishikesh on the other side of river Ganga. So commuting to and from the place by car will be difficult during peak hours and season. The Hotel Yog Vashishth does not have a car parking near by. Other than these small issues, the Hotel Yog Vashishth is simply excellent. The rooms are tastefully designed and is very well appointed. Service staff and good and helpful. Very near Paramarth.

I had a very good stay. Hotel staff especially satish is very helpful. Nice place as it's near to janki bridge and parmarth ashram. Rooms are well maintained.

Nice food, near vanprasth ashram, nice view of vanprasth ashram, ayurveda doctor available on call, massage center in Hotel Yog Vashishth, 24 hours power back up nice interior in room but one problem no lift but all over good

It was the third time I opted for yog vashishth. Best Hotel Yog Vashishth in Rishikesh. Clean and decent rooms. Nice helpful staff. Overall best experience. I would suggest everyone to try this Hotel Yog Vashishth once. I suggested my and they too had same opinion about yog vashishth ..
