Houseboat Ark Royal

I can't say enough good things about this place. This houseboat is more than just a place to stay. It is a family you get here when you visit dal lake. It is an extremely calm place that you would want to wake up to. This is in ghat no. 7 of dal lake (not seen in the row, its behind the row of houseboats making your stay soothing and calming. You can take a shikara for 100 bucks to reach the place. They are literally at your service. The owner lathi, his wife rukhaya, other family members were all abundantly cordial. They invited me to eat together. When you leave them and the place, you feel a pang in the heart. A very caring family. The houseboat is extremely clean that you would not wanna put a chocolate wrapper unattended. The owner can arrange for shikara ride, photography, food and everything you would want in the trip (great knowledge about the places, site seeing, prices, places, distances etc. Do not think of anything else. This is the best. Specially if you are on a solo trip then this is it.

The houseboat ark royal is very nice, a homely environment. Ambience was fantastic. Hb owner are very good and humble, will take care of your requirements. Will provide food as per your requirements, just you had to inform before time. Room heater and blanket heater are also there with warm water availability as per electricity. I will suggest others also to visit this hb

Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms and the boat owner lat-if is made us very comfortable, cool and nice. Food is made by his wife that is very delicious and good taste. Best boat for hangout and facilities. This guy have a complete knowledge on jammu kashmir visiting places. He will make your plan very beautiful.

Nice place to stay a night. Host lateef was very nice and helpful. But one feels restricted because if you want to go outside then evertime you have to call shikara

Exilent stay ark house boat just like home

The house boat is in the lake and its very quiet and relaxing. Lat-if was very helpful with how to get around and places to see.
