Houseboat Hardy Palace

Tbh we were little hesitant to go there after reading some of the negative reviews but after going there our thoughts changed. The houseboat manager was warm and funny. He even sent a guy on shikara to fetch pakodas for us from outside the dal lake. Kept in mind we were vegetarian and maintained hygiene. Helped in getting a shikara ride. Overall we believe if you treat their home like your home and follow rules, they will go out of the way to help you.

Houseboat is average on average location near meena bazar in dul lake. It is situated in last corner of house boat colony but in a very peaceful area which has a different landscape in comparison to the other house boats. No room service but you can order chai milk etc. Staff behaviour is very good. Don't use google maps to find this property simple search ghat no 12 in dal lake and take a shikara to the house boat.

Best houseboat i have seen in srinagar. As they help us to explore the city really well as they give shikara boat with excellent food service. They are so cooperative and make you feel comfortable as your home. The property have best view which also helps to get best pictures & videos. This is best budget friendly houseboat with excellent service.

It is a fabulous place to visit the room, the facilities and the nature, the hospitality by the staff is awesome for what ever i asked i enjoyed. Special regards to the cook who cooked delicious food we had sumptuous food it was tasty and hygienic

I booked this property for my parents. I was worried about them managing it on their own. I told the case to the property owner and he was extremely helpful. They help planned the itinerary and arranged all the services at good prices.

The stay was very comfortable, the interior was nice. But the food was a little too expensive. And the boat cost to drop on the other side is also a bit higher as the location of this houseboat is at the back.

The only good veg food in srinagar, and please book this without looking around for local Houseboat Hardy Palaces because the locals are going to loot you. Staff provides penultimate. ”
