Ibankordor Jungle Resort

It was good. The room was very basic. Nothing fancy but the hospitality was on point. The food was also tasty. They had decent number of options in the menu. Our aim was to book a stay close to the double decker bridge trek start point and it was achieved. Overall it was a pleasant stay but the room could be better. Also, the hosts were polite and friendly.

It was the most difficult place to reach ever. no road for the last almost 2 km.. not at all as per description.. no tv..no network..not at all worth the money..

Host is extremely humble, polite and helpful. Rooms and toilets are very clean. Surroundings area is green everywhere. Food is also good

Food is very tasty. Price are also reasonable. Resort is suitable for friends party. There in one room 4 friends can easily stay. It is totally in jungle. No beautiful scenery.

The rooms were comfortable and clean. There was room service and the staff are ever willing to help. It is an extremely rustic experience with greenery all around. There are two good treks to living roots bridges and a panoramic view point nearby.

It is a good place to stay deep in a Jungle. But It is far away from Cherapunji. last 6-7 kms road is basically off road. Behaviour of hotel staff is fantastic. Rooms are spacious. but almost nil network coverage. Digital detox. But don't ask them to keep your hard drinks in their freezer. next morning you will find your bottle are just vanished .,😄

It is located right in the jungle.. Great for nature lovers. Surprisingly we found North Indian food.. Everyone was very helpful. we enjoyed our stay but would suggest to have mobile network.

Stayed for 2 nights with my family. Enjoyed the stay. Resort is a bit remote but secure and pleasant. Food was nice. Provide all basic amenities.

The place is amazing and so peaceful. It's taken cared by all female staffs and the owner lives within the premises too. The food were amazing, mostly picked from the garden itself, everything was beautiful and amazing but there's no cell reception in the area, i guess that's the only reason people give a low rating. It wasn't an issue for us and it gave a more relaxing, serene and peaceful mind and stay. We also had 2 dog tour guides who were so adorable and followed us everywhere. I have no complaints about my stay here and i'd definitely go back for another getaway.

The place is quite remote - which makes it very special. It's quiet and internet is sketchy. The women who run it are very helpful with any service request. While the rooms are simple they are very clean and tidy. It's a nice place to spend a few days cut off from the annoyances of the modern world.

It takes around 45 minutes from cherapunji, no network or tv available on property. Overall experience was ok. Service is good and property is run by all women.

Stayed here during my meghalaya trip. Location is a bit offbeat, and it may be difficult to locate the resort if you follow google maps. To reach here, best option is to follow google maps till you reach the village, and from thereon follow the resort signage's through a tricky road. All while tedious and dull looking, the cottages are actually huge and of substantial size, for 2 people we got a cottage which can easily accommodate 15 people. Even the toilets are the largest ones i've seen till date. This is not a modern kind of resort, so please don't expect resort like facilities - no wifi, no ac, no intercom, etc. However, there are fire places inside the cottages and fans are provided. Food is of limited menu but are cooked deliciously. This resort is managed by local people who serve you with a smile. The only con i have is there are limited mobile network connectivity, and internet hardly works due to the offbeat location.

The resort is located in an excellent location. The resort appeared to get managed by female staff. Their behaviour and attention to guests is praiseworthy. The food quality is good.

Reaching the resort itself gives you a feel of going deep inside the jungle . Sometimes you wonder whether you are going right ! Once you reach you certainly feel it was worth it. A must visit place atleast for a different experience altogether 🤗🤗

We a group of 6 people took 3 rooms. Rooms were nice and staff was helpful. Cell connectivity is not there so you get to spend with friends and nature.

No connectivity with the reception desk. Being located admist forest area some lines for communication is required in case of emergencies. Adding to it no power backup available. The experience could have been good and worry free had the basic amenities had been taken care of.
