Ifseen Villa | Rooms & Caretaker

When I've booked the Ifseen Villa | Rooms & Caretaker from "Makemytrip", I was a bit hesitant as it was mentioned that it is a bit far from upper Pelling. But still based on the positive feedback from "trip adviser" I've booked it for 17th and 18th May for my full family. And now I can surely tell that it was an absolute right decision. The entrance of the Ifseen Villa | Rooms & Caretaker gives an old European feel. The main gate, the name plate and even the letter box gives a vintage flavour. The manager "Vivek" himself welcomed us personally and took care of the transfer of the luggages to our rooms. The Ifseen Villa | Rooms & Caretaker has total six rooms, two at ground floor and four at 1st floor. We got two rooms at the 1st floor - 201 & 203. Rooms were adequately spacious with a wooden floor and big windows. The interior was just perfect without any unnecessary fat. The bathroom was spacious, very clean and most importantly having 24 X 7 hot water supply. They have already kept the geysers on, so we got immediate hot water to get ourselves fresh after 4 hours journey from Namchi. The two Bath towels, one hand towels, the bedsheets and pillow covers all were very clean and super white. Two glasses were kept at each room with properly wrapped with papers cover. Tea was served quite fast after the order in a very way. We have taken the dinner at their dining hall at ground floor. It was also very clean and adequately decorated without any unnecessary luxury. Even the hand washing area is also very clean and hygienic. But what I liked most is the personalized care of Mr. Vivek and his team of two very sweet girls. They were present throughout the time of our dinner and breakfast and served with lots of personal touch ( even they have proactively adjusted the sit height of my little daughter's chair to make her comfortable). The exterior of the property needs to be mentioned. As it is situated a bit far from the locality, you can truly feel the touch of nature sitting at the backyard of the house along with the mesmerizing view of "Kanchanjangha" and "Kabur". Mr. Vivek gave us a detailed description of the flora and fauna of the locality. My brother even collected few saplings to grow at his home garden. Overall a truly memorable experience for the best ever hospitality I've ever had in a budget Ifseen Villa | Rooms & Caretaker.

Pros: Wonderful Location. You can have a clear view of Kanchenjunga from the room, if clouds favour you by not interrupting. The villa owner is extremely friendly and takes care of you like their own relative. Food is delicious. It’s a typical home made food prepared deliciously by the owners themselves. Rooms are very big and clean. Room charges & food charges are extremely nominal, in fact the best affordable rate I have ever stayed in a property like this. Cons: Nothing I could point at specifically. But in my opinion, the place is more of, for the subtle people who enjoy nature and fineness of the space around there. It is located 1. 5 km down the town centre. It's surely not the gross ones who yell and hell at every small discomforts they face, they have better typical Ifseen Villa | Rooms & Caretakers up there.

This Ifseen Villa | Rooms & Caretaker would be better to be known as upgraded home Stay- as it's atmosphere and the way of taking care of his guests by Mr Pradhan and his family and team is quite homely. Though the location is isolated and market place or restaurants or other amenities are quite far but the owner is always ready to serve you with his Innova for anything you need. Still it is not looking good and practical to ask him to drop or pick up for small things. Apart from this everything is good. Room and toilet is quite clean and regularly changing the basic things. Service is excellent. Food quality and quantity is fair. Kanchendgangha and the total range view is possible from the room if you are lucky. The area is peaceful and the warm reception and way of looking after for every bit is really appreciable.

Owner gives personal attention to your comfort and its amazing. Awesome food too. We had to leave early for Airport (3:30 Am) as our driver was apprehensive of roads being closed Around 7:00 Am due to Road construction work between Legship and Zorethang. We told Ifseen Villa | Rooms & Caretaker to not take pain of making breakfast in wee hours of morning or late night. At Around 3:15, door bell rang and we were served two cups of coffee. Amazing, isn't it? He also offered to pick-up/drop to restaurant outside but we loved food being served in the Ifseen Villa | Rooms & Caretaker itself so didn't go.

Unparalleled hospitality, great location. Don't wait, go & stay asap . The host was really a knowledgeable, simple and amiable person. He facilities are standard and you should not expect much luxury. However, I should describe one incident of utmost warmth to support my point. We had to get out of the villa at 5:30 am, He woke up, prepared coffee and breakfast for us. The breakfast was properly packed so that we may have it en route. We didn't even ask for it and it was even complimentary, if I am not wrong. Dil jeet lia yaar . PS :: The experience compelled me to post my first review.

We had an amazing time staying at Ifseen Villa! The house is beautiful, as like the nature surrounding it. Vivek and his family were so helpful and always made us feel at home, answering any question and driving us at any time to the center of Pelling. The food was delicious. Both breakfast and dinner are just great. The rooms were very clean ofcourse and designed in details. Wooden floors, bed heater and cable tv made the stay even better. This stay without a doubt will be remembered as one of our most special ones in India.

It was an awesome experience. The owner himself is such a nice and down to earth person. His name is Mr Vivek. And there is a sweet girl whose name is Sharmila. They all were present there 24*7 for any help. They serve only home cooked food so variety is limited but the quality of the food is excellent and gave us a homely feeling... Food is served very fresh and within the given time. The location of the Ifseen Villa | Rooms & Caretaker is a bit far from the main market so the overall ambience is peaceful.

It is a beautiful property located at the valley however view from most rooms are amazing enough on a clear day .. Its a kind of homestay ... Owner and staff are quiet sensitive and responsive to your needs beforehands .. And equipped with all arrangements. Rooms are clean with wooden floor .. They have bed warming blankets too which give much more relaxed stay during winters .. Food is also amazing and homelike .. Breakfast is superb ... In all its a perfect place to stay while you are in Pelling ...

Simply wow, never stayed in a such a beautiful Villa/homestay. The owner is a very nice person; all the stuff is always willing to help and food served tastes brilliant.one will feel that staying in the lap of nature.

Very nice stay with family and the owner is very helpful. Food quality is excellent and the location is also nice. I will recommend for family visiters if they are going at Pelling. Its value for money stay.

A very comfortable, satisfying stay at Ifseen. The best morning view ever from the room window. The most amazing staff who always greeted us with warm smile. The home cooked food was just amazing. Mr Pradhan was very forthcoming in helping us out with everything. Overall a great stay. We'll be back

It's a nice guest house. Food quality is beyond excellent in fact. It's little down the hill from Pelling zero point but does not matter, Mr. Vivek gives you free drop and pickup for zero point. We enjoyed the food, we enjoyed the view from the room. Everyone was so good that we felt like home. Wish to visit again.

Superb hospitality. Excellent food. The owner is always eager to help out guests. Couldn't see much of Kanchenjunga because of clouds. It takes around 15-20 minutes to reach Pelling on foot. If the guests want, the owner happily drops them at Pelling in his car.
