It was a home within a resort . Very aptly located and lovely staff . food was amazing and thanks to Chef Gaurav for being on the floor at every meal catering to guest needs . the rooms were amazing . I would love to come back again and so did my son love the place with activities around .

A Peaceful Vegan-Friendly Getaway (5/5)

What I loved: 1) Beautiful location with stunning views and great weather. 2) Only about 1.5 hours from Mumbai — perfect for a short trip. 3) Rooms were comfortable; when our sofa-cum-bed didn’t work, the team upgraded us right away. 4) Food at Rasa Restaurant was outstanding — huge thanks to Chef Satyendra and Chef Gaurav for preparing amazing vegan dishes (biryani, dal makhani, cold coffee, and more). 5) Warm, thoughtful service throughout our stay. What to note: 1) Slightly on the pricier side during festive periods, but worth it for the overall experience. Verdict: A beautiful resort with good hospitality. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quick escape near Mumbai.

Property is very spacious, various activities ,view from terrace is excellent. rooms were big , neat and clean staff m service is also very nice.... Food is a bit costly but good enough we enjoyed a lot and I will Highly recommend this resort

the resort property is good and very pleasant. Food was also good and staff was very helpful. the only thing was that room was bit let down. there were strains on the wall because of rains or water seepage. other than that washroom was well maintained and good.

Rooms are extremely overpriced and do not justify the cost. Room service is poor, and even basic amenities are missing. The receptionist declined to offer the welcome drink, citing it was unavailable. Food quality and variety were also disappointing and not worth the price. Overall, it was one of the poorest experiences

The resort is really nice with spacious rooms, an outdoor swimming pool, and facilities for activities like cricket, pickleball, pool, badminton. Perfect for large groups. The food was pretty good too. The staff (Jehangir especially) was very helpful.

Not at all a 5 Star Property. Rooms are not upto the mark. Basic rooms have no view at all,a wall in front of the window, Smelly washrooms, No major amenities at the place, indoor games close at 7 pm, pool too available for limited time. Reception does not respond or revert to request. Only thing good is the restaurant breakfast. They charge exorbitantly for the stay. Much better options available nearby for the price charged. I wont recommend this place to anyone.

The room was well maintained, but, I felt there should have been an exhaust fan in the bathroom, Located at the prime of Kandala, easy to navigate to the location, it has few scenic spots within walking distance from the resort.

The property was very very beautiful and well maintained ! The food was just delicious.. rooms were not bad ! Pool and gaming zone was a perfect treat .. i went with my wife for her bday , the staff decorated the room very beautifully with balloons cake and other decorative items ! I've had a pleasant experience, though there are areas where the property can improve to match its full potential. Hospitality & Service: The staff was polite and welcoming, but service in both the restaurant and room service could be more attentive and prompt. A little extra focus on guest needs would make the experience smoother and more enjoyable. Food & Breakfast: The food was decent but somewhat average for a resort of this standard. The breakfast buffet, in particular, could be improved. Several items lacked proper taste and texture, especially the bakery selections such as Danish pastries, croissants, and cakes. Including milkshakes and expanding the breakfast spread with more South Indian options like bajji, wada, lemon rice, and upma would make the offering more satisfying and well-rounded. Rooms & Cleanliness: The rooms were comfortable, but housekeeping needs more attention. Dust was visible around the corners of sofas and under the beds, which suggested that vacuum cleaning was not carried out thoroughly. A higher standard of cleanliness would add significantly to guest comfort. Overall: Ikshana Resort and Spa offers a pleasant stay with good hospitality and ambiance, but enhancing food quality, increasing menu variety, and ensuring thorough housekeeping will help elevate it to the next level. With these improvements, it has the potential to become a top choice for travelers in the region.

Good: 1. Food is overall good. 2. Swimming pool and lawns are well maintained and have a nice view of moutains, waterfalls and highway. 3. Rooms are spacious and well maintained, although Valley View Room does not actually mean view of the Valley.. It is actually view of the greenery outside.. 4. Lots of activities, games to remain entertained. 1. Smart TV should be there. A basic amenity for a 4-star property. 2. A small center table(even a plastic one) would be good to keep in the balcony. 3. Water bottle size should be increased. Current water bottles get finished in 2-3 times only. 4. Akshobha spa is average...not able to understand instructions properly. 5. Cafe Visho...staff does not seem to know how to make Cappuchino or Cafe Latte. Standard tea and coffee are good.

We had a comfortable stay at the resort. The scenery from the resort was soothing and the pristine Kune waterfalls was visible from the lawn area. We tried rejuvenating ourselves from the monotonous city life by using the swimming pool which was well maintained. The hotel staff was near the pool area to ensure that we are secure and provided us with towels after swimming. Aspects that could be improved: 1. We had to call the housekeeping staff twice for waterbottles. It would be better if their action was quick and prompt. 2. There should be more options in the live counter in the restaurant. For dinner, there was only pizza which was available for the guests. Overall the experience was good and would recommend this hotel to others who are planning to visit Lonavla and Khandala. Thanks 🙏
