Ilbert Manor: 183 Years Old Heritage Retreat

Good vibe!! We enjoyed our stay. Staff were very helpful and polite. We didn’t try food much but whatever little we had was good.

The property is quite close to Mall Road. They provide a cab free of charge. Well maintained, vintage and quite an amazing view

Illbert manors team welcomed us warmly. Provided the best service, food. Upgraded the stay. Queens stay is excellent.

As per the brochure there is a point for free parking, however my taxi was not allowed to park inside the hotel property before 10.30 pm. If free parking is for own vechile only then the same should be specified in the brocuhure.

I checked out in less than 2 hours from the check in time. The place gives a vibe of a place. Rooms were worn out and stinky....still the right ia on with for full refund because the property looked way different than the one shown in pictures

Rooms are very small and old. There is no view from hotel. The alley is so small you can’t bring a big car yourself. Very bad such things should be mentioned.

We stayed here for 1 night. The vibe of the property is on point! Looks straight from 1900s. The location is right on Mall Road but uphill. The climb is a bit steep but the property provides a free pick and drop to Mall Road which we appreciate. There a games room and we enjoyed our time there when it was raining outside. Food was below average and they can overall work on the upkeep of the property. The bathroom especially needs an upgrade. They hadn’t provided slippers. On the plus side the room had a view of the hills.

We had another amazing stay at Ilbert Manor. The staff is always so eager to be of assistance, specially Ayush and the valet driver (whose name I unfortunately forget.) No request is too arduous for them. I love the charm of the old property and its eccentricities. I would strongly recommend having dinner on the terrace. Admittedly the property has its quirks; the location is only accessible through a narrow side street, the staircase is steep, the piping is old. But I would not select a property with "183 year old heritage retreat" in its title if I were expecting the amenities and homogeneity of an uninspired chain hotel. Ilbert Manor is a distinctive experience for those who appreciate history and character. The rest might try an airport Hilton.

Property was heritage so it was good the rooms n lobby and corridors. Bathrooms weren't nice. Food didn't like it. Plus the hotel has best view by staying in mall road. But as cars are not allowed in mall road. Coming to this place and going with heavy luggage is the bad situation. Something should be provided. But hotel dropped us till the mall road in the end. So overall i liked it.

we had a stay for 2 nights in Imperial chalets room, very hospitable staff , amazing food quality , warm and serene atmosphere. loved the British colonial vibes . not to mention , the staff Priya and others took care of every need and quick in response. The property was good, all rooms were in the name of Britishers who actually stayed, which was something unique and good. You can see Vintage items of Britishers time. The food quality was good, and the staff was very humble. Overall a Good Experience 👍

Excellent room clean & neat, best behavior of boys, excellent service, food quality best.Location wise best views of outside, only problem of getting to hotel from mall road. That is also solved by car service from hotel to road.
