Iris Cottage & Cafe Manali

I, along with my family stayed at Iris Cottage from 19-23 Dec. 2019. The location of the cottage is excellent, far from the hustle and bustle, yet at a stone's throw away from the Mall Road (only 1.5 kms). The cottage is located on the banks of the Beas River at a serene environment. The view from the balcony is simply astounding and jaw dropping. One couldn't ask for more. The proprietors Sachin and Jay pal are always there to help and guide you. They will make you feel at home. The staff Joginder, Vickey and Raj are very enthusiastic and ready to leap at your call. If you are a nature lover and looking for peaceful vacation for your family in Manali, then look no further, this is the place for you. And one more thing the service they are providing at this price is nothing but praiseworthy. We are already looking forward to our next vacation at Iris Cottage, may be next summer. So go ahead and have a nice vacation.

The location of the cottage is awesome. We had d best room with the best view. Could clearly look out the window or stay in the balcony and gaze out at the beautiful snow covered hills in the day light and twinkling lights under the moonlight. The sound of the river flowing down is quite peaceful. The food's amazing and to top it off the property is built in a homegrown plantation that includes apples, cherries, walnuts, strawberries and wide range of flowers. It's an amazing place to be with your friends or loved ones as they have arrangements for be it a little romance or camping indoors with friends. The guys who work, they were super friendly and always they were taking an extra initiative to help you explore the best.

1. Host jaypal was very friendly and cooperative. He gave attention to detail about the comfort and well- being of the occupants. He was also very flexible and was not profit oriented. He assisted us in all possible ways. 2. The heritage cottage is a wonderful property with comfortable stay and picturesque view. Thank you jaypal and makemytrip. Regards. 1. It is recommended to book the entire heritage cottage for family stay. 2. The view is very beautiful. 3. Flow of beas is very soothing and a breathtaking sight. 4. The quality of food served is also very nice. Akin to home cooked food. 5. Ideal bonfire location.

An excellent place to stay in Manali surrounding with the blanket of greenery, apple orchids, and burbling river. A cool and calm place for rehabilitation. All the staff working there were very guest-centric and coordinating with the guest taste. Its a must stay for one in Manali with all-natural amenities for a natural lifestyle. Almost requirements other than hosting is being offered. Food on demand especially multi-cuisine dishes round the clock served hot can make this your choice of stay. Courtesy and helping nature is their lifestyle.

I was staying with my family in December. Overall the stay was satisfactory but since it was December I think room heater should be a part of the tariff. They are charging an amount for a room heater on per day basis. Food was good, hot water available but one more issue is that they don't have a power back up. Location is good away from the main city, River flowing beside the cottage. It was a good time spend altogether.

Rooms are well maintained and clean. Exactly as shown in the listing. View from balcony is awesome. Food is good. Some dishes like pancake, sandwiches are must try. Hospitality is top notch, staff try to accommodate your requests with smile on their face. They allowed early check-in to fit our schedule. Special thanks to staff member vijay to take care of us with big smile on his face all the time.

We have 2 night stay at Iris Manali. It was wonderful experience for Stay and Food. Property is Very good. Location is 1.5 km far from Vashishtha Temple, Manali. Management and Staff is supportive, provide helpful information about local tourist spots Ambience and View of Dine in café is very beautiful. Food test and Quality is one of the best.

The rooms provided, the facilities provided were very good liked the breakfast and tea very much. The scenery from the room and the location were very good. We booked the property for the viewpoint. The area where we had our tea was very beautiful. There was an arrangement in the garden to sit and enjoy tea which was just great.

The experience was really good, everything was accurate during the stay. The location was outstanding, the natural view from the property was very beautiful. Faced no issues, everything was great. If I go to Manali again I will definitely stay there again and will definitely recommend to friends.

Good location, good food and good service.

The view of the cottage is nice. Birds chirping, awesome mountain view, so much greenery around, sound of the flowing river also it is around 30 mtr near to the main road. Staff is very supportive and friendly.

Nice room, good staff, perfect view from Iris Cottage & Cafe Manali, only problem was it was far from Iris Cottage & Cafe Manali. Walking time to Mall Road is 20 minutes.

We had a really nice stay at iris, the rooms were very clean and the cafe and food was extremely good. The staff is also were helpful. Mr. Jaypal, owner has maintained the property very well and guided us on places to visit, really helpful. Overall we enjoyed our stay!
