rooms were spacious and clean , breakfast was very good , hospitality and guidance was very good , could have arranged lunch and dinner as well on pay basis , could have added more things like kettle, more floor carpets etc

A Truly Homely and Memorable Stay in Madikeri

Our stay here for 2 nights and 3 days was truly unforgettable. Every moment left us mesmerized, from the warm hospitality to the serene atmosphere. The hosts, the lady and her husband, were exceptionally kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Vittala, in particular, was so thoughtful and always attentive to our needs, ensuring our comfort throughout. The food they served was absolutely delicious, prepared in their authentic traditional style, giving us a real taste of the local culture. The highlight came during our checkout, when Vittala honored us with the traditional Mysuru Pettu (turban), a gesture that made us feel deeply connected to their heritage. We captured some beautiful, lasting memories in those moments. Overall, it was an amazing experience filled with warmth, homeliness, and culture—one that we will cherish forever.

excellent property. very well maintained and homely environment. rooms are very large and can accommodate 4 people easily (had 1 double beds and 2 single beds) and can still play badminton in room 😁. owner is very polite and friendly. i definitely suggest this property for families.

It’s an excellent property with huge rooms, amicable staff, close to the city. The breakfast included was good. The property is surrounded by coffee and bamboo plantations. They have a table tennis board for indoor entertainment. Must recommend place when travel-ling with both family and friends.

Bugs in the living area and water leakage from roof

Ii-ts located inside the coffee plantation and the outside environment is good. Complementary breakfast is good. But there were few issues which needs to sorted out on serious note. 1) there were bugs in the living area which can cause allergic skin 2)water leakage from roof caused floor wet 3) rat on the floor 4) not able close bathroom window door after seeing bugs/rat shift on cough and floor, afraid to use the blankets/towels provided. Water gizer and bathroom maintenance is good but insects coming in because of window issue. Thanks!
