Jag Niwas Guest House

First of all Udaipur is a amazing city for tourism; it is beyond your imagination in the Rajasthan, you have rethink about Rajasthan. Most of the people of Udaipur are very decent & Polite. The Jag Niwas Guest House is centrally located and it is safe to commute in late evening with family. Most of the visiting sites like Lake Pichola, Bogre Ki Haveli, Jagdish Temple and City Palace are on the walking distance. Guest House Chief Manager Mr. Murtaza is very decent person, He instructed to the Staff to provide us more available option for selecting the rooms even after pre booking. Hotel Manager Mr. Vinay is very polite and decent person; he helped us in sight seeing & hiring the vehicle for visiting sites. The Guest house also have a roof top restaurant, which provide you the option of have a view of Pichola lake while enjoying the food & you can also have the food out side.

Our stay in Guest House was good, peaceful, value for money, roof top restaurant with pichhola lake view was an icing on the cake The beds was comfortable, Food was good on Day-2. Location of Guest House is in-between Market area. Taking car till the Guest house was a difficult task. The staff was good, timely handling requests, except one instance. There is only one guy for the management. He alone is doing cooking, room service, cleaning everything etc. Advice to travelers - Good Choice for Single travelers or Bachelors, park your car in designated parking area near guest house, if you are traveling with own vehicle. Location is nearby to the city palace. Guest House is inexpensive and value for money.

My review is based only on my short stay at this Jag Niwas Guest House. I arrived in the morning just to freshen up and leave for a tour of the lake city of India. The Jag Niwas Guest House is well placed in the heart of the city, beside lake Pichola. All the major tourist attractions are at walking distance. The Jag Niwas Guest House manager was courteous and he arranged the room with no hassle. He helped me planning my tour in an economic way, gave me road map of the city and marked must see places. We can have a decent view of the lake from the rooftop restaurant. Overall I had a decent 3hr stay.

We stayed Jag Niwas Guest House Jag Niwas guesthouse. We found that the Jag Niwas Guest House accommodation is comfortable and food is excellent. Rooms are well-maintained and spacious also. The location of the Jag Niwas Guest House is very good.. All the staff is very polite & caring like a family. We come in Udaipur then I stay in this Hotel again. All the staff was very well behaved and treated nicely. We enjoyed our stay there. Bathroom are not & clean. I also suggest my near and dears.

It is Budget Jag Niwas Guest House with good location and good thing about this Jag Niwas Guest House is in the cheapest room price (I got special discount from makemytrip and it cost me only about 355 rupees per day) I got free high speed internet WiFi connection. I recommended this Jag Niwas Guest House if you are on tight budget. Main attraction of the Udaipur like City Palace, Bagore ki haveli, Jagdish temple, Gangaur ghat is very near just on walking distance.

Management is too co-operative. I was new to Udaipur city and want to visit places with family and they have guided me properly with good suggestion. Room service was also good. It is worth for money. I would like to thanks Management and would suggest other guests to visit this Jag Niwas Guest House. Location is also good so you can visit Lake Pichola, Jagdish temple and city place by walk (Distance of 300 meter from Jag Niwas Guest House)

Very good location near the lake. The room was quite nice for the price, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The rooftop is beautiful. They have a restaurant as well, but it was never busy up there. I once ordered a lassi from the restaurant and was told there wasn't any, so I got the impression the restaurant isn't really in full swing in the off. Very nice place to stay overall though, near Jag dish temple and city palace.

Room are good steps too high and stiff for senior citizen or people above 60 yrs restaurant view awesome. Located in heat of the city near City place, shree sai nath temple, bhaghar ki havali and pichola lake. Food is good. Having 24 hrs hot water service.

The Jag Niwas Guest House is located at the centre of the tourist spots, you can visit the places by walk. Hotel manager Vinu was very helpful and planned our site visits properly which saved our precious time. Covered every tourist spots in a single day. Happy to stay at Jag Niwas.

The Jag Niwas Guest House is best for those who just want to spend nights indoors and want to roam in the entire day. It is very near to Lake Pichola.

Amazing place, booked through makemytrip app, got a discount and very worth it. Extremely helpful and honest people. The city is amazing, go to the spice market. You must go to the Lassi shop on the stairs to the temple!!!

Location is very good at a very reasonable price. Person at reception was very helpful and helped us to know the best places to visit. Restaurant view is great but non veg food not up to the mark. Would recommend if you want a budget Jag Niwas Guest House.

Entrance is little bit cosy, but you once go inside you feel very good. It is small Jag Niwas Guest House but service is very good. All staff behavior is very good, manager will help you for sightseeing of Udaipur and guide you which important place to see in your short time.

It is very good budget Jag Niwas Guest House, very good facility at very reasonable tariff. Helpful staff, good taste of food, very clean room and lobby, everything in approachable and one day sightseeing is at walking distance so you will not need auto rickshaw.

Old City near gangour ghat is perfect place for any tourist at Udaipur. I got deal at very cheap rate and I have expected average room and service. But opposite to my thought, room was too spacious and good, bathroom was neat and clean. Service was good and staff member were supportive. Tea was awesome. Overall It was great stay with minimum money.
