None of the negative reviews written for Jai Hotel are genuine. It is possible that they had some problem with the reception or staff and posted a negative review. The actual thing is something else. 1. This JAI HOTELS is very close to Darjeeling GPO. 2. Food cost is high.test of the food is average 3. There is no completely flat road to go to the mall, and the distance is also not very short (:;!!;;), after Tower Chowk, the path to the mall will have a little higher elevation. We were not provided the room we had booked from MMT, the reason given was that it was not vacant. The manager was unable to answer my question as to why the room was not vacant when it was booked and I was given the option of room upgrade which was quite big and I had to pay Rs 2500/ per day extra. The room is not bad if you don't expect a view room. But it is very cold inside the room. There can be problem without a heater and heater is chargeable. If you have booked a room by looking at the pic then there is no guarantee that you will get the same, I also did not get it. There is lift facility. Because the food is overpriced then you will have breakfast and dinner outside. There are restaurants nearby but all the good and famous restaurants are found near Chowk Bazar/Tower Chowk/Traffic Police (all are at one place, I have put all the names for convenience). You will have to walk for a 5/7 minute to reach here. To reach from jai JAI HOTELS to mall fountain you have to go to some steps flat then apx 300/350 steps up then after some steps light up you will reach Chowk Bazar Traffic Police. Then again after some steps up and normal steps you will reach to Mall Fountain.. Finally about JAI HOTELS 10/9 Behaviour of Reception and staffs 10/9 Security, cleaning 10/9

I had an amazing stay at Jai Hotels Darjeeling! The JAI HOTELS exceeded my expectations in every way. The ambiance was serene, peaceful, and incredibly quiet. The food was delicious, and the receptionist was not only adorable but also humble and welcoming. The JAI HOTELS's location is unbeatable - situated on Mall Road, just a 6-7 minute stroll from Chowrasta. Overall, my experience was top-notch, and I wouldn't hesitate to book Jai Hotels again on my next visit to Darjeeling. Highly recommended!

Mattress was very fluppy that causes uneasiness in sleeping which resulted in body ache.Some amenities were missing in room like slippers and dental kit.Room views are bad.There is hip of garbagge from window views.Lights were always off in rooms galary.Rest of the things were fine.Except aforesaid things we enjoyed staying over there.All staffs were humble and supportive. thanks Jai JAI HOTELS team.

The location is within the heart of a market place , however the facilities are excellent and staff is extremely courteous. The food is delicious but the breakfast is irrationally priced , not sure why would one pay Rs 150 for 2 boiled eggs or for an omlett. The price for lunch and dinner are on the higher side but still appears reasonable.

Lovely experience. The JAI HOTELS is situated in the market area with easy accessibility to all the restaurants and shopping places. Very courteous JAI HOTELS staffs and rooms are beautiful though they are city facing.

Hotel is at good location and near to Mal road. Food quality is ok but servicing require improvement and promptness . Amenities and services are satisfactory except the bed which is too soft lead to waste pain.

The service was good. But faced issues with the child food during breakfast. The room was very good.

The room was well appointed and clean. The amenities were good. Behaviour of the stff was very polite and cordial. Even the food in the restaurant was tasty.

Atmosphere of the JAI HOTELS is good but no bathroom mat outside the washroom but overall JAI HOTELS rating I can give out of 5 is 4
