None of the negative reviews written for Jai Hotel are genuine. It is possible that they had some problem with the reception or staff and posted a negative review. The actual thing is something else. 1. This JAI HOTELS is very close to Darjeeling GPO. 2. Food cost is high.test of the food is average 3. There is no completely flat road to go to the mall, and the distance is also not very short (:;!!;;), after Tower Chowk, the path to the mall will have a little higher elevation. We were not provided the room we had booked from MMT, the reason given was that it was not vacant. The manager was unable to answer my question as to why the room was not vacant when it was booked and I was given the option of room upgrade which was quite big and I had to pay Rs 2500/ per day extra. The room is not bad if you don't expect a view room. But it is very cold inside the room. There can be problem without a heater and heater is chargeable. If you have booked a room by looking at the pic then there is no guarantee that you will get the same, I also did not get it. There is lift facility. Because the food is overpriced then you will have breakfast and dinner outside. There are restaurants nearby but all the good and famous restaurants are found near Chowk Bazar/Tower Chowk/Traffic Police (all are at one place, I have put all the names for convenience). You will have to walk for a 5/7 minute to reach here. To reach from jai JAI HOTELS to mall fountain you have to go to some steps flat then apx 300/350 steps up then after some steps light up you will reach Chowk Bazar Traffic Police. Then again after some steps up and normal steps you will reach to Mall Fountain.. Finally about JAI HOTELS 10/9 Behaviour of Reception and staffs 10/9 Security, cleaning 10/9

The location is within the heart of a market place , however the facilities are excellent and staff is extremely courteous. The food is delicious but the breakfast is irrationally priced , not sure why would one pay Rs 150 for 2 boiled eggs or for an omlett. The price for lunch and dinner are on the higher side but still appears reasonable.

Room and Room service is good, but food quality is bad.please avoid food for your little baby. Location is also good.parking facility not available in the JAI HOTELS.only very few Room got kanchenjunga view.

Well maintain property, Behavior of staff was nicr and helpful. Room was cozy and clean. Bathroom was clean. Location was good. Almost it was good experience at Jai Hotel

Location is good,Service is ok,but the hot water is available for only 6 hours.Room size is very big and clean.Food is very costly.Normal tea is 110 plus tax.

That was a very nice stay, all staffs are very polite & helpful l and location also perfect only 4 to 5 minute way to kevinters and mall only 8 minute

It was awesome experience, easily accessible, rooms were near and clean, staff behaviour was good. No issues at all.
