JAL MAHAL RESORT & SPA

The resort staffs were very welcoming. They were always willing to help us in every way possible. The property is very well maintained and has all the amenities they promise. Just one or two points i would like to highlight is that the bath tub in all the rooms are very small. Even if you are average height person, you will not fit in properly. Secondly, the first room which was allotted to us had dirty balcony, bathtub shower was broken and there was a construction work being done during our stay. But the staffs were kind enough to shift us to another room the next day which had no such problems. Swimming pool is well maintained, although only 4 feet deep. Breakfast buffet does not have much option. You get to pick from toast, dosa, idly and cut fruits and juice/coffee but the taste is good. Restaurant has a veriety of options to choose from in a-la-carte. It was a memorable stay and i would recommend this place to everyone.

I traveled during weekdays with my family including elders and kids. It quite, calm place middle of forest 300 meters inside from main road. Approach: decent drive from bangalore, site seeing places like elephant camp, rajaseat, dam are not too far from this property i would say centrally located. Food: good food served hot but very less vegetarian options. Staff: caretake, helper, chef all are well mannered they try their best make your experience wonderful. Rooms: rooms are decent with really large bathrooms (attached) and bed. Can easily accommodate 3 adults 2 kids. Overall our experience was great and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Overall it is good, nice food, pool, play area, calm place, all fine. However, we faced some problems during our stay, still, others may not face these problems. My room no: 106 was smelling bad when we entered it, looks like they did not open it for quite some time, There was a lot of dust between the wall and bed. There was a hole between and rooms. Luckily both the rooms were booked by us. We could communicate through that hole. We went to breakfast by 9.40 am, by that time lot of items were not available. The reason given by the staff was, there was another party going on, so the kitchen must be very busy for regular guests.

Amazing resort away from the city chaos, still accessible very easily to the palace, the zoo, the karanji lake, the chamundi betta, we stayed here with family for 2 nights. Location is just amazing. Your own vehicle is a must. Amenities-pool, gym, sports section, widespread property for a decent walk, well maintained, great rooms, the best of the best restaurant food, nice restaurant ambience, equally good quality and faster room services. Definitely, i will recommend it for families, reasonably priced, awesome location and great food, beautiful indoor and outdoor maintenance.

It was a family trip to mysuru and we found this property in makemytrip. All of us were very much satisfied with the property. It is located in a peaceful area just 15 mins away from the mysuru city centre. Booked two different kind of rooms, one classic and the other executive. Classic rooms are really good, big enough to accommodate 3 guests comfortably. Executive rooms is lilo small and it was stinking a bit. But i must say, food was really delicious. There were lot of options in breakfast buffet as well. Staffs are very humble and proactive.

I really loved the place as it's calm and quite from the city hassles. They has very nice outdoor garden restaurant which i loved. Rooms were not so good for the amount paid. I have expected a bit more cleaner rooms. One of the major issue we faced was that, they have provided us a room with a broken window which has caused ac performance and safety concerns. We have not noticed it as the whole window glass was missing and we didn't realise it until we saw it from the outside. This was a major concern as it's a safety risk and privacy issue.

1. As it is, mysore is a very quiet city. The resort is just a 15mins drive from the city and is located in a very serene place with lots of greenery within the property. 2. The resort has a huge spread in ala carte. As also in the complimentary breakfast and the food is excellent except for the coffee. I'm an ardent lover of coffee & the filter coffee is just ok. 3. The basic amenities in the room are provided. I'd wouldn't comment on the other as i didn't use them. 4. The availed services were upto the standard.

Booked a classic room for 2 nights. It was a spacious room with good lighting and ambience. Nice furniture giving royal look. They have am in house restaurant. Breakfast is a buffet which is free of cost. Rest lunch and dinner are alacarte(paid. Food was good and tasty. Did not use the pool as it was visible from inside the restaurant and lacked bit of privacy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Housecleaning service is done well. Overall a very good stay and hospitality with friendly staff.

Location is good, quite congested but good ambientes. Food needs to be improvement, it's a multicuisine restaurant but did not find anything new and very limited options. Amenities are in poor condition. Service was good.

Overall the property is very well maintained, food is good. However handling customers during breakfast was a challenge. Executive rooms are very small compared to the room rates.

The resort ambience were awesome. Amenities and food was also very very good. The way they maintained the landscape the resort surrounding and everything was excellent. Service is also good but was bit slow still helpful and nice staffs

Over all the hospitality was too good and the booking process from mmt was also easy and all the staff in the property were well behaved. Thank you.

Nice place for a one day getaway with family

The jal mahal staff was friendly and always approachable. They maintain very good hygiene be it room or food. They have very good cuisine variety to choose from.

Friendly staff, good food, clean and peaceful place. Can't ask for anything more the location is also pretty convenient as there is no traffic in the area so one could reach other places in mysore in a short time

Beautiful, clean and spacious rooms. All the amenities were good. My kid and i enjoyed every bit of the indoor and outdoor games, pool and the play area. They have a wide variety of cuisines and the food was good too. But they need to work on the bar. It was a bit dissapointing. Over all a good stay.
