Jalchhabi Hotel And Resort

Stayed here for 2N/3D in the premium cottage room on first floor and felt it was excellent value for money. The room and bathroom were spacious, clean and had all necessary amenities. The bed was comfortable too. We just wished the balcony faced the river and the windows had clear glass to let in more natural light. The shower cubicle in the bathroom also needs a full glass partition to prevent water from splashing out. We had shortlisted both Bari kothi and Roy bari during planning stage, and after visiting both properties felt this was a better choice - all things considered. The staff were very accommodating and kept the surroundings neat. We tried all types of cuisines offered at the restaurant and they were all tasty. Breakfast had plenty of options and also had eggs and dosa made to order. The restaurant also packed our dinner nicely for the return journey. We also took their evening boat ride, and quite liked it. Overall, I think this hotel deserves a strong recommendation for a peaceful stay.

Room and toilet are very clean and good. Nice Hooghly river view from balcony. Campus is very beautiful and specially in evening. Restaurant (Tarang) food is excellent. Most important thing is all exicutives having good manners and respect for others.

My mother and I spent 3 nights here. Loved the resort - calm and peaceful place nestled right on the banks of the Bhagirati. Rooms are modern and spacious. Staff is very hospitable and food at the restaurant is pretty good! We definitely enjoyed our stay here!

The Resort doesn't offer premium services though it charges premium price। The food offered is pathetic । The resort is not very spacious though the photos create illusion that it occupies a large area। The rooms and the service provided are good, but nothing extraordinary. Wouldn't recommend anyone with such price.

Property is quite good awesome location, clean .Staff behavior are polite. Food is average slightly over priced. Overall good stay .

Though the outside surrounding garden areas (except the backyards of our room where dirty leaves of coconut tees are almost touching the window openings restricting the nice view of the flowing river) of the resort building is being nicely maintained, room walls are discoloured and dirty, which needs immediate painting. All the staff are very well behaved. Location is nice. Due to restricted view of the river from our room, we did not consider it worth paying such a high room tariff. Food though was very good and we enjoyed it very much.

Location is excellent! close to all major attraction and on the banks of bhagirathi this place has a lot to attract tourists this is my second time and looking forward to more in future the rooms are large & clean good good good housekeeping- scores in all segments

Nice place to stay in murshidabad. Very nice people of that resort. Excellent behavior & helpful staff. Food quality is excellent. The overall experience is 5 in the scale of 1-5.

Very very frustrated. They charged the food like 5 star but the quantity is too too small. Also they should offer buffet for breakfast but that was not there. Highly overrated for the room, food taste was good but this hotel is too much overrated. I never suggest anyone to stay here. Price is too much high and quantity is too low

Everything is okay type. Pillows not good. . Staffs were good. Breakfast was good. We stayed for a night. Can't complain on anything but i feel the price is on higher side for a hotel like this
