In House kitchen food was really good. Property and the owners are good people.

The room that we have booked offers a big balcony space, surrounded by nature. This is the best space you can look for in Murud. The host is incredible, and he tried his best to make sure a guest has their best time.

We had booked two rooms here for 1st April.The rooms are average rooms with very Very dim light and slow speed fan not at all suitable for the hot summer afternoon .the jetspray in the washroom was also not working properly,there was no living room at all its just a terrace outside two rooms,utterly dissatisfied with the rooms.

Property and services are good

1. location is very near to beach 2. room was clean, well lit, ventilated 3. morning was really magical with tiny bird chirping on windows 4. hosts were caring people 1. we were not provide with basic needs like towel, kettle 2. one extra table or rack would be helpful to keep belongings

The property is well maintained and good for the family stay. The owner is cooperative. The property is majorly for stay only and offers lesser options for food, though they provide the food option (mostly thali) on the request basis.

This property location is very good and 5-10 min walking distance from murud beach. Food prepared and served by owner of the property is very delicious, homely. Room was spacious, neat and clean, with spacious terrace. Overall services are satisfactory.

Stay was ok. Atmosphere was awesome. It was calm and serene. Hot water was always available. The blanket was not washed. It was smelling. It was difficult getting in touch with the owner/ care taker - vivek masal over phone & moreover he should communicate politely to inform that the very next day rooms are all booked. Customer service was missing. My strong recommendation is keeping cctv atleast where the rooms were through the terrace. I think visiting again can be considered if the negative feedback is taken positively and rectified. Overall - ok.

The place is very peaceful and the service is also 10/10

House owner was out of station. They were not available on their phone until it was near checkout time. We did not get any service or food arrangements. Our experience was not good.

Usually I don't write reviews but since this trip was our first trip completely by public transport, I realized that reviews play an important role. Janaki Niwas: Just hearing the name, Vastu got attracted and the place is beautiful as the name suggests. Location: Approximately 500 to 700 meters from the beach. 10 minutes walk. The place from where share autos are available to go to Janjira Fort is approximately one and a half - two km. Looking at the quiet and clean streets around Janaki Niwas, one cannot help but be tempted to walk there. Living Room / Premises: Basic things like fan, hot water, spacious terrace and swings are here but also cleanliness, landscaped yard, various plants in the fence are four moons!! (A/C is also available here) Food arrangement: It may sound like an exaggeration but I have never eaten anything like this before. Pohe, upma tea vegere is available here for breakfast which was more delicious and tasty than I could have imagined. Dada's way of growing is very beautiful. I myself love simple and vegetarian food and found it here. Others had fished; According to him it was very tasty too. Just as every place has a different taste, different color, different culture, Janaki Niwas felt like a celebration for us. As the manager of Janaki Niwas lives there, the feeling of staying in a beautiful house will remain in our memories forever.

The property is situated in the greens of the western ghats. Very serene and peaceful. The host and his family are wonderful people very hospitable and kind. The home made food certainly is a charm, very delicious. The place stays naturally cool. All in all a great place to explore the maharashtrian coast lone from.

A peaceful, clean and scenic place. The host is very friendly. Coconut trees, greenery and calmness adds to the beauty of the place.

The property is located close to beach. A spacious room with minimal but necessary facilities. The home made yummy food is the usp. Very warm and friendly host and his family. Certainly recommend for a short stay.

Got exactly same experience of this poem listening since childhood. Owner are so kind & lovely, that I felt like family. Really nice experience. If you want to stay near murud and you want real peace and essense of kokan stay in Janki vila. Rooma are so clean and hygiene. The view from room is great. Also food is so tasty & delicious. I will suggest you can have your breakfast dinner and lunch here itself. In murud there no such good restaurant. Location is best, walking distance from beach. located heart of city.

Good experience with family

Calm and superb location with lip-smacking food! good clean room and hospitality by entire family. Enjoyed the three days.

This place is a serene place with great hospitality by the hosts. If you want a calm and homely place for a stay in murud near the beach, this place is a perfect destination for you.
