JC Residency

We were assigned room 304, which was a fully wooden-everything room overlooking the pool. From the decor of the room, the amenities provided (a locker, minibar, coffee/tea sachets, electric kettle, two 1 litre glass bottles that are refilled repeatedly - an amazing thing that should be imbibed by every JC Residency that provides plastic bottles, a hair dryer, an ironing board, carpet slippers, a tv with an extensive number of channels, the in-house restaurant which, to our pleasant shock, was cheaper than many restaurants with equally delicious fare, to the location of the JC Residency - it was awesome all the way. The buffet breakfast is superb with constantly changing fare - we stayed for 5 nights and counted 5 different variations of potato and halwa! they also have a dinner buffet every night at 950 + taxes which we didn't opt for but it seemed to be extremely popular with the guests. They even have free umbrellas on a rack in case it rains so no need to carry your own. The 4 feet deep pool is open from 7 am to 7pm and is superb but can get a little crowded. The autos parked just outside the gate of the JC Residency charge a flat rate of 150 or 200 for the temples, but you can catch a running auto for 120 with a short walk to the right of the JC Residency. For those with laundry, host-elites is a loudromat that is a short distance away and charges by the kilo. All three famous messes - kumar, amma and chandran - are within walking distance so you would never lack for food. A note about the honesty of the cleaning room staff, something i cannot rave enough about. We had accidentally left the locker unlocked, with its door ajar and a significant amount of cash and documents inside it but when we came back we were happily shocked to find nothing touched. After such an experience, i would trust this JC Residency with my eyes closed. Things to improve - flat pin sockets are not provided, the mattress of the bed was too spongy and the wooden bed and closet creaked loud enough to wake up my partner. Otherwise, an excellent stay!

My stay at jc residency in madurai was truly wonderful! we booked two heritage executive rooms, one for my mother and another for my husband and me. The rooms were beautifully designed with intricately carved wooden panels and maintained spotlessly clean. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful design of my mother's room, which catered to senior citizens with additional support in the washroom and a convenient location opposite the lift. The morning breakfast was excellent, offering a diverse range of options to suit different tastes and dietary preferences, including south indian, health-conscious, and western cuisine. What impressed me most was the attentive service, with ladies from the staff proactively checking on guests to ensure they had everything they needed. The warm smiles and courteous assistance made our breakfast experience truly delightful. Overall, i highly recommend jc residency for its exceptional hospitality, thoughtful amenities, and delicious food. I would like to place my special appreciation to kavitha in the restaurant and saranya n devika in house keeping.

Coming in from us, we were a bit apprehensive about location etc, but this JC Residency turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Restaurant and it's spread of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner were excellent. Staff was very attentive and helpful. Travel desk was awesome, with services from mr. Raja and mr. Graydon. They managed our trip to rameshwaram and dhanushkodi and provided excellent service. Only area of improvement was that showers could be a bit more cleaner. Location is also central to the madurai city and all attractions are within 5kms. Overall, excellent place to stay and i would recommend it as a great option.

My recent JC Residency stay was delightful. The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with modern amenities. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The staff were courteous and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. The JC Residency's location was convenient, Breakfast offered a variety of delicious options, catering to different tastes. The on-site facilities, including the gym and pool, were well-maintained and added to the overall experience. Check-in and check-out were seamless, making the entire stay pleasant and hassle-free.

The stay in jc residency, madurai was good. We stayed just one night. The rooms are quiet spacious and had chettinad flavors in its design. The toilets were disappointing for the comfort and star level of maintenance in the room and the exteriors. The toilet seats had stains which were irremovable. These things need to be looked at and replaced to maintain the high standards the JC Residency claim. Sufficient south indian dishes were available for breakfast and it was good. I cannot rate them as best for the food quality of madurai.

The JC Residency is well maintained with an exceptional heritage touch. it has got beautiful decor and you will surely have a great experience staying at the property. All the JC Residency staff are certainly courteous and well groomed to understand the guest needs. Breakfast spread and taste both are bang on. Genuinely you will surely have a great experience staying at this heritage JC Residency. it's a must stay place if you are in Madurai. The JC Residency is impressive with large parking area, very ornate reception / waiting area. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast spread is large and good. Adequate amenities within the room with good wifi connection. Though the bathroom is spacious the segregation of dry and wet areas can be better planned. In fact, the bathing area is quite small with space wasted otherwise. They allowed early checkin by 12. 30 though the officially it is 2 pm. On the whole a value for money JC Residency.

Well maintained property with courteous staff but they have one arrogant manager at breakfast who denied our breakfast as we reached there by 10. 30am. It's ok we were late but the way he spoke is rude and i would not recommend this kind of behavior from them as we are paying money we have right to ask and speak over there but the way that person treated was a bit awkward later front desk people got to know that we didn't get breakfast they helped with some snacks that's a sweet gesture from them

Very good stay, rooms were clean and staff was very helpful. Xar paeking space is good. Hotel is under rennovation and post rennovation become good properly for sray

We stayed at jc residency for 2 nights. The wooden decor of the JC Residency is really nice and different from other JC Residencys. The rooms were spacious and clean. Hotel staff was polite and courteous. The food was good and hygienic. The breakfast buffet is limited but was tasty. They also have a big parking space. Overall would recommend a stay here.

Very nice property. Food was very tasty. Staff was very polite and helpful. Rooms were very clean. All the hall areas was having nice paintings and wooden furniture. Nice centrally located near to major temples of city.

It is a nice JC Residency having big room sizes and clean washrooms. Complementary breakfast of multiple options. Staying here is worth in all respects. Proximity to all the places of visit is good. The JC Residency's big attraction is that it is well decorated with wood art of antic type.
