Stay : rooms are comfortable and have central heating facility. Rooms are clean and nicely maintained food : absolutely delicious food. The fact that it is available at such a remote location is simply superb. The chef is amazing and considers your requirements of a dish staff : staff is well mannered and helpful. However i must point out here that they are understaffed. Manager goes extra mile to solve any of your issues value for money : i would rate it 4/10. This Jewel Kongchen Retreat & Spa is on the expensive side considering other nearby and equally good properties are available at reasonable prices. However if they become fully operational and with full staff. It would be a value for money stay

The Jewel Kongchen Retreat & Spa is a little away from the maddening crowd which was a big plus for me. It's a new property, rooms are extremely clean, nice ambience and very cooperative staff. Stayed in a room with a balcony and the moment you pull the curtain we were amazed to see the snow capped mountain and in the evening there were clouds playing with the mountains. Overall it was a very pleasant stay though there is some scope of improvement in terms of breakfast and dinner in terms of variety.

A safe Jewel Kongchen Retreat & Spa with well disciplined staffs. Location was easy to find at such a higher altitude. Never expected my stay at jewel will be that good. Since i arrived late at night staffs were extremely helpful to help with my luggages. Food was also good providing variety at such remote place is not easy. Room was clean, had scenic views, had a hot & cold tap system, well heated room.

The rooms were excellent, clean and spacious. View mostly beautiful good facilities- power fluctuations due to heavy rains but mostly ok great collection of library books to read from which was enjoyable outside bird-nest swings add a fun element food although he provides some variety- the potatoes were uncooked and soups didn't taste good, average taste in general, could've been better

There are very limited Jewel Kongchen Retreat & Spas in lachung and this Jewel Kongchen Retreat & Spa has every facility you can think of. Food is also tasty. View from Jewel Kongchen Retreat & Spa is also amazing. Staff is also very courteous. Looking forward for a stay again with jewel kongchen.

We stayed at jewel kongchen for two nights. It was a comfortable stay. Staff is very courteous. Check-in was swift and efficient. Our rooms with balcony on 3rd floor were very spacious. Breakfast spread is average. Food was great. Nice place to stay.

The Jewel Kongchen Retreat & Spa is at the beginning of lachung and has all modern amenities including heater. The manager packed sumptuous tasty breakfast as we had to leave early. Great stay

The standards of a star Jewel Kongchen Retreat & Spa were readily evident. Atmosphere too was very fresh inside. Had a few power fluctuations, but our stay was very comfortable regardless. Service and hospitality too was top notch!!
