Jheel Guest House

The view was my highlight. Jheel is one of the oldest guest houses in that area. The food is also great! By the lake! It is a really calming location. Appealing to all senses. Although the meals are not included in the package, there are two restaurants in the guest house with different menu, and good quality food, making it easier anyway. The staff is not outgoing or friendly, which at a glance could be mistaken as hostile, but having been there more than 3 times, I can tell that they are nice

Bang next to Bagore Ki Haveli, within walk-able distance to Jagdish Temple and City Palace and LAKE FACING. A real value for money. Nice place to relax facing the lake on the ground floor restaurant. Lake pichola has become dirtier compared to the more cleaner Fateh Sagar Lake. Only the approach to Jheel Guest House and its lanes seem little dirty with faulty drainage pouring out on the roads. But then you have to expect these things from crowded old bylanes of old Udaipur city.

Overall experience was good and the location was amazing value for money for the location only. The room are too small and the main is there is only one charging point in the room the balcony view was amazing.

Hotel was good. It is located near to all the places, we can go by walk only to visit city palace, lake points, boating. Worth for money. Only concern is check in time it 10 oclock ,. We reached early 7 oclock we have waited for 3 hours in reception. Request for Jheel Guest House management need to allow inside while guests arrive.

The location is to die for! They do the simple things right in terms of clean toilets, good food and a polite staff. The rooftop cafe is picturesque and peaceful. Everything in the area shuts down by 11 though, and it's a little bit of a struggle to get in if you're out exploring beyond that time . Though it's not worth the hiked prices we paid because of the New Year rush, it was still a very good experience overall

Awesome... Nice relaxing weekend and I will be there on Friday and Saturday again for all the fun part again... I think even if you don't have time to do that you can plan something with the kids and family.

Overall experience was excellent. The lake view room was neat and clean. The location is in prime position. The rooftop restaurant was too good and the quality of the food worth the money. Like the ambience and the cleanliness also. Loved to visit there again.
