Joggan Jaisalmer Camp

We had gone to Jaisalmer with family for ringing in the new year. We had booked all The tickets in advance... Like 4 months earlier. We got a good deal On this camp through MMT and so we decided to go for it. In our booking Tickets it was specifically mentioned that we have to pay Rs 3000 per tent on reaching the Joggan Jaisalmer Camp and rest all is already included in the ticket. On reaching the Joggan Jaisalmer Camp we were asked to pay mandatory Rs 5000 per person as it was a new year's eve. We had a discussion/argument that why was this amount specifically not mentioned anywhere in the ticket. There was no explanation on this confusion and I am still not sure whose fault was it.. MakeMyTrips or Hotel. Since there is no restaurant in the camp as these camps are located far away from the city(which is a beautiful site but not in this case) we had no option other than to pay Rs 5000 per person (and we were 4 family members) + Rs 3000 per tent which was mentioned in the ticket and not to forget the actual Joggan Jaisalmer Camp room booking that we had already done in advance. So we had to pay an amount which was not worth it. Apart from the above confusion and over pricing, the Camp is really good and they do have good arrangements in middle of nowhere. The hospitality was really good. But the unexpected amount that we had to spend was not cool... And we could have had a greater fun somewhere else considering the amount that we paid for one night. My suggestion to those who are planning to visit this place is to please get in touch with the Joggan Jaisalmer Camp directly so that there is no doubt. And Hotel and team should work together and rectify the language in booking tickets so that things are clear and to the point and there is no blame game.

Our trip to Jaisalmer was for 4 days and 3 nights. Out of this one night stay was at joggan camp. We booked a super luxury villa and it had all the required facilities such as tea coffee maker, clean bathing area with a clean toilet. The bed and quilt were clean and very comfortable. There were no mosquitoes and insects in the tent. The food was yummy and served with lot of love. We had snacks, rajasthani meals and north Indian meals too. Breakfast again had many yummylicious options. Chef Poonam even made special food for my fussy toddler. Mr. Khan, served us with a lot of love and took our good care. The desert camel safari was really interesting, initially I was scared to sit on the camel but within few minutes I was comfortable and had a great time. Generally, people do desert safari from Jaisalmer and do not stay in camps. But my suggestion would be to stay for one night and enjoy the desert life. I was away from television and internet for 24 hours and it was worth it.

I stayed for 1 night with family, 2 adults and 2 kids in 1 tent. The room was all set up nice and clean when we checked around 3 pm. Well maintained camp with very humble and helpful staff. No issue at all. They even installed extra bed for 1 child. Location of camp is another plus point. I won't go in details of camel safari and jeep safari etc. It was just awesome. When we left the camp we forgot important medicine that was left in their refrigerator. We called the camp people and they arranged to deliver the medicine all the way to Jaisalmer city. If you are planning to visit Jaisalmer I would strongly recommend Joggan Jaisalmer camp at least for 1 night. Leave all your worries to the camp people and just go there. They will take care of all your need. What more can I say thank you to each and everyone at Joggan Jaisalmer camp. I will visit again.
Great hospitality by all staff members. Very pleasant stay.

The location is good. It's closer to Sam however the dunes where the camel rides you is a bit far. Tents are very nice, AC as well as Non AC options. Staff is very good and hospitable. They went out of their way to serve us tea and snacks at 5:30 in the morning. Service was excellent. Food was simply amazing, best I had in Rajasthan in 6 days. Tents can have bit more facilities like intercom, mini fridge etc. This is considering the money being charged. I have stayed at other camps at lower costs but better facilities. Another note, they do have options of Jeep safari, dirt biking, border visit etc. Overall very good experience but a bit on the higher side in terms of pricing.

My stay was awesome,I enjoyed all facilities of room. All services were very fine right from welcome, then room service, food, safari n folk dance. one of the great experience of my life.
It was awesome experience in there. Right from the starting i.e from welcome to see off. Great welcome, very nice room service We enjoyed all outdoor activities camel safari, desert Safari, quad biking, and one of the best was evening folk dance with open bar facility and restaurant food was very delicious with many varieties of food veg n non veg both. One must surely have experience of Jogagan Camp once in month.

The camping experience was superb at Joggan Jaisalmer. The Tent offered was not less than a nice Joggan Jaisalmer Camp room. The Joggan Jaisalmer Camp staff was very responsible. Specially Teekam, Khan. Mr kuldeep was very helping. And the chef Poonam Singh was outstanding in making any dish. The jeep safari, camel ride and near place visits arranged by Mr kuldeep were nice and value for money. It has been 3 nights and four days in desert and not a single day felt like I am facing any problem regarding food, water, comfortable stay. A nice place to visit again. Joggan Rocks.

Amazing stay. Everything fabulous. Stay location. Amenities, piping hot yummy food, folk music and dance and the super talented folk music. Staff took us amazing care. When you are in Jaisalmer Sand Dunes, it has to be joggan. 5 star.
Amazing location, amazing amenities and fabulous service. Staff took proper care of us. Must stay when you drop into Jaiselmer. Brownie points for yummy food that too served piping hot in the chilly winters. The folk music and dance was mind-blowing with fab artist. Everything super good.

We had nice time at Joggan Jaisalmer, camel safari was good and we enjoyed Sun set there, cultural program was good. They need improvement little bit in services like toilet paper was not there we had to ask for toilet paper and bucket. Hi tea was not such hi tea they just offered tea with biscuits and rusk. They din not offer any drink in the evening and these both things were mentioned in package. Otherwise everything was good. Stay at Joggan Jaisalmer was a good experience.

One of the top camps to stay in Jaisalmer dunes . It is the service and hospitality which keeps them far apart from any other camps.

The location of the Joggan Jaisalmer Camp is very good. Service is so good. Unlimited packed drinking water available. Very calm place. Night programs are also very good. Hotel provided us camel safari facility.

Real enjoy of desert at joggan with thar safari camel safari quad bike riding ,sunset on sand dune and Rajasthani cultural programs at night in camp is great with DJ . Supportive camp staff.

When we visited in mid November, we were the only family that day. We told them that we may get bored. They said it will not happen and made sure of it. We hardly felt that we were alone at camp. Staff made sure that we enjoy every activity and that too on time. They served amazing food (which was a bit costly). Overall, it was a great stay. Total value for money.

Camp is good for stay in center of desert had memorable experience

It was a camp/tent far away from most of the tents on the main road. Good location and evening born fire and cultural program. Services were however slow and charge for desert scooter was exorbitant. Overall a good experience.
