Jungle Hill Resort

Stayed during the first week of Feb. 2020. Deluxe suite AC, room type 1. Hotel located at an isolated place around 4 kms far away from Madikeri town in a jungle covered with coffee plantations with a very bad road, at least one km stretch. 2. No mobile network. Only Airtel and Reliance Jio network available. Had to depend on resort wifi facility, specially provided to us. 3. Rooms were quite big, with a king size bed, comfortable enough to accommodate a couple with a kid. 4. Due to the jungle nearby, it's quite challenging to maintain the resort, hence there was dust and insect on bed and bedsheets. Please check it carefully before using it. 5. Special thanks to Mr. Udhay for his out of the way support in providing early lunch while we were checking out. 6. Food was quite tasty, soft chapati (fulka) with dal along with khichdi/curd rice, that was helpful for the kid. 7. The only drawback was its isolated location, that had no options for any vehicle, hence we had to depend on the Jungle Hill Resort, provided cab service for local sightseeing that was too costly. Spent good amount for local Madikeri sightseeing in 3 hours and another amount for far away sightseeing at Dubare Elephant Camp. Overall a nice, wonderful, comfortable stay with family.

This resort is at beautiful location. If you want relaxing stay away from normal rush days this is perfect holiday location. I would recommend this Jungle Hill Resort to people if you love peaceful stay near nature. Mornings are refreshing with bird's calls and greenery around the Jungle Hill Resort rooms. Room provided to me was very specious with basic amenities like AC, tea/coffee kettle, hair dryer and toiletries. Although you shouldn't expect lavishly spread buffet breakfast, lunch or dinner but the quality of food served was good. The staff, especially canteen staff, were very polite and ready to help and share information. Room provided to me was neatly cleaned. All the tourists attractions are within reach from this location. I would recommend to travel with private vehicle at your service and call the Jungle Hill Resort to reach Jungle Hill Resort location and not to depend on Google maps. Overall we had peaceful stay at this serene location.

If you are looking for a quiet place to stay and enjoy the views of valley then you must book your stay here. It has a foosball, tt table and kids play area. But it needs to improve on facilities provided when the room rent is almost a 3 star Jungle Hill Resort. Bathroom slippers, toiletries with shampoo/conditioner etc should be part of room services. Breakfast time is 8.30 to 10 am, so if you are planning on leaving early in morning for sight seeing then you have to skip it. Also, the breakfast is not hot as they cook all food at once. Rooms are spacious along with balcony to sit and relax. They have a tie up with a coffee chain, collect your coupon from reception for free coffee tasting at the outlet.

Location is very good, peaceful. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is nice, limited options but good taste specially sambhar. We took breakfast + dinner while booking but it is better to not include dinner. Food quality for dinner is not consistent. It is average. Bathroom kit is not provided. Not many amenities. Pool is under construction currently. Overall nice place to stay if you want to relax and get the forest feel. Note: The location on google maps is not correct as of 24th Dec 2019. The last left turn indicated on the map will take you to a different resort. Skip this turn and go a little bit ahead and you will see the la flora board on the next left.

The Jungle Hill Resort staff were polite enough and allowed early check in for us at 7 am in the morning. The room we were first allotted was compact and small hence we requested the management to shift us to another big room with balcony. The Jungle Hill Resort staff obliged to our request and we were given a good room with balcony after 3 hours. The room was neat and clean, surroundings fresh and resort with indoor games. The only thing missing was a bonfire and a swimming pool. Although a pool is in construction and would be ready soon. The food was very good and tasty. The Jungle Hill Resort staff were very polite and helpful. Overall a very good stay.

Location is easy to find, food was great and Jungle Hill Resort staff very friendly. I appreciate irfan for great customer service skills
They have taken all safety precautions and i must say it's the best resort for the budget, and it's totally worth ! the staff are very friendly especially irfan who guided us properly regarding the sight seeing. We stayed for two nights and it was great. Only one suggestion - include more games in the resort. Only fuse ball and table tennis was there, maybe they can include a snooker table it would be excellent

Located amid-st the jungle @ 5km from city center. Peace calming and tranquil loving people will relish the stay. Value for money. Rooms on the lower floors are a little stuffy. Stated at a4 family suite. Good clean rooms. Provided with an extra 6 inch mattress. Courteous staff. Excellent dinner, patiyala chicken is a must try dish. Breakfast is limited to 5-6 items and lacks variety however taste was good. Swimming pool was an add-on.

So this is my second visit to la flora jungle resort, why second time first of all location in middle of coffee plantation and greenery around you, staff is amazing food i have no idea since we ordered food from our side all the time, wish to come back again in future

Isolated from traffic and calm stay in coffee estate without any disturbance

All safety measures are taken, rooms are clean and hygiene. Good location to spend a quality time.

The Resort at Madikeri is the best option. Rooms size, food quality, all related services and location is the best one for Madikeri visit.

Cleanliness is not good. Restroom is not clean, lot of insects. Very disappointed. Staff is unfriendly

Great stay, breakfast variety should be improved

As the name says it's in the jungle and couple friendly. We 3 friends we visited with wives. The location is awesome rooms were clean. Food variety was limited but the taste is good. Near to all the locations. Since we went on the new year's time the Jungle Hill Resort price was hiked but that's worth it.

Need security services for night time

Awesome experience in lap of nature and trees with some species of birds, mind-blowing staying with excellent hospitality. If you really want to enjoy the Scotland of India, then this is the best place.
