Kadkani River Resort

Away from the city, in the woods, the resort gives a feel that one is in the midst of nature. If your trip objective is to get some me time or family time, the kadkani resort is a good option. The staff is the biggest asset. Very very caring and cooperative. Food (both veg and non veg) is excellent, very homely and light on stomach. But if tour trip objective is more focused on sight seeing, adventure, roaming around, etc, you may have to head towards madikeri which is an hour long drive from this resort. For that matter, even for shopping, no good options nearby. The local administration should be more strategic, else good resorts like this will keep struggling to attract visitors. The resort is getting back to normalcy post covid. The staff shortage can be seen and felt. Room service costs extra 30% and no wifi in the room (only available in the lobby. Good part is one gets out of the room and this presents good socialisation opportunity. Resort arranges morning tea coffee even before the breakfast is served, and even the evening snacks. The golf course is not operational due to maintenance issues. We had a good time relaxing in the resort, and enjoying the hospitality. Kudos to the staff. The nature walk with mr. Ponnappa is an experience in itself. Very knowledgable, when it comes to the local flora and fauna.

The location of the resort is amazing - it's located among the coffee plantations, with greenery all around. Kaveri river is just by the side of the resort. Perfect getaway from the city's hustle and bustle. The place is calm, serene and picturesque. The staff are also very friendly, warm and polite. About food: no complaints, the quality of food was good. Although i found the variety was less. The spread is predominantly south indian and i liked them. What could have been more enjoyable, given the environment around the place, was some choices of snacks at coffee time. In comparison to other similar place, the snacks are a let down. Lastly, the place is perhaps an old construction. Even though the cottages were in good condition, some things like bathroom and windows need some fixing. The rooms are clean. But, bed spreads were not that good - there were stains at many places. There are paid activities like river rafting, zipline, etc. Zip-line was a let down because of the length - may be kids may still enjoy. Other facilities like carrom, table tennis, badminton were decent and enjoyable. Swimming pool could have been neater. Imo, the place is overcharged for the kind of offering. My trip costed per night, plus taxes and it was not updated to the mark for that price.

Nestled in a serene environment, kadkani offers a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The lush green surroundings and the tranquil atmosphere provided a much-needed respite. The resort's layout, with its picturesque views, made our stay exceptionally relaxing. Kadkani offers a range of activities, and we enjoyed the plantation walk and bird watching. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly. The staff at kadkani were warm and hospitable. They went out of their way to ensure our comfort, always greeting us with a smile. Their attentiveness and prompt service greatly enhanced our experience. Would recommend kadkani to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in nature.

It was a beautiful retreat to nature. Lovely cottages with adequate space and nice furnishing. Alacarte menu could have more choice for vegetarians. Food was good. Enjoyed river rafting and nature walk. Overall a great place to spend time with family. Recalled the childhood days in the activity entre. Number of bicycles can be increased.

Good place to stay, nice property amid-st nature and good customer service. There was plenty of variety in the breakfast, guided nature walk is must to witness various flora and fauna. But the downside is that their food ordered over alacarte, we were served with hard over cooked chickenmasala. Rest it was comfortable stay

Property location is good amid-st grreenery. Rooms are big, clean, well maintained. Clean sheets, polite staff. Great breakfast vwith lots of variety. Lunch and dinner ala karte menu. Its delicious, limited menu but expensive. Lots of activities. Still water river rafting should not be missed

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were very amicable and attended to our needs right away. The food was great and were served on time.

Ok. Great experience booking through make my trip. The deals are good and expect to get much better deals in future also. In some cases the competitors are offering better deals, so looking forward for a great and fruitful association with make my trip.

We went as a big group ( 6 adults +5 kids, overall the stay was pleasant with lot of facilities for kids to enjoy. Rooms were good, only remark is the food. Sometime it was great, but few times food was average to below average

Wonderful location to spend your 2 days. On the banks of cauvery river. With great food and activities in river. Thanks to mr ponnappa for arranging all activities. Chef was excellent.
