Kailas Hotel

wonderful stay and a wonderful property located just a kilometre from ellora caves. There is Ghushmeshvar Jyotirlinga located near the property and one can simply walk. Beware of the guides at Ellora caves and always check there ID before hiring, they will proclaim themselves as guides. I had such experience on my trip a person proclaiming himself as guide offered his service of showing ellora caves on e rickshaw, he took us around and in between he was asking to transfer money in someone's account, we clearly rejected it. Upon finishing when we came back to the Kailas Hotel the person kept calling me saying I have given the money to so and so person so transfer the amount to my account. I found it fishy and ended his call and blocked him l. He kept calling me from some other number that too I blocked. I told it to the Kailas Hotel owner and he found out the person who so called himself ad guide was not actually a guide but a third class drugist whom police had beaten just a day before.

The Kailasa Kailas Hotel is just a 10 mins walk away from Ghushmeshwar Jyotirlinga and 5 mins walk away from Ellora caves. It's location is perfect to visit both jyotirlinga and Ellora caves. Food - They have a nice restaurant. we had dinner there and the food was tasty. Rooms - are a bit old type and more suited to foreigners likings. Had a chat with the manager and he told that this resort is owned by a female and she is bit oldish. Having said that, the manager confirmed that soon they will be starting the renovation of the rooms. Service- Staff was helpful and service was quick. Overall it's a nice place to stay with specially if you are visiting the Jyotirlinga.

The location is wonderful. 5 mins from Ellora Caves and Grishneshwar Jyotirling. 25 mins from Daulatabad fort and Bhadra Maruti temple. Ajanta caves is a 2 hr drive from here. The property is a bit old but the cottages, cave view and garden is nice. Great for the price. Restaurant is decent for the price but I wish there was more variety. Overall a great stay.

Very nicely placed Kailas Hotel among-st the shades of nature. The views of mountains and greens around is very charming. The hospitality of Kailas Hotel staff can never be forgotten. Thumbs up. Very close to ellora and girishneswar temple. Special thanks to Kailas Hotel manager for excellent advice to my tour plan.

Nice place to stay. Parking facility available. Cost of food is on higher side. Rest is just fine and safe.

Property location is excellent. Very large campus. Hospitality is good. Every staff is helpful. Santosh ji ( manager) was ready to help any time. Very dedicated to resort. Restaurant food good, better to say excellent. Room was clean. However some upgradation is required.

Comfortable cottages offers a scenic view to the Ellora Caves. Superb ! Surely recommend this place for who are travelling with family. Whole premises is beautiful and peaceful.

It was a comfortable stay. The rooms are clean. Staff is very helpful and courteous. The location is very good. The Grishneshwar Jyotirling temple is very near(within 800m). You can experience the beauty of ellora caves by having your breakfast, which adds to the overall vibe of the Kailas Hotel.

The Kailas Hotel is 200m away from the Ellora Caves. It has huge open space, great play area for kids, good restaurants. The Kailas Hotel is super value for money and really offers a perfect stay at Ellora.
