This is an absolutely beautiful resort full of lush green plantation and greenery all around. The cottage rooms are having lot of wood work all around which adds to the ambience. The staff are brilliant, starting from manager to the caretaker and to rhea attender boy adi, all of them were so nice and friendly and were happy to clarify any doubts we had. Good part is that the owners of the property are staying right in the middle of the property and are very humble people. While leaving they gave us jackfruit, mango and pepper from their plantation. Property is located almost in the center of the city an you will not have to travel much to reach any spot. They have arrangements for elephant rides right from the back of the property which usually cost 500 but is discounted at 400 for resort customers. And before i forget, the breakfast is top notch and of great quality, kudos to main and assn t chef. Lunch is not available. Dinner will be made if ordered prior to 6pm, otherwise you will miss it so prefer eating at resort at-least the breakfast and dinner. Rooms are spacious, well maintained and good views with balcony. All in all, just an absolutely fantastic stay.

But that one issue aside, the resort is a true gem. The beauty of kalpavanam is something everyone should experience. Highly recommended for those who love nature and want a peaceful getaway.

My stay at the tree house kaplavanam resort was truly exceptional. The property is stunning and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding forests and mountains. The staff were incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home from the moment i arrived. While there were some issues with room service, thou the overall experience was fantastic. The resort has a unique charm and the tree house accommodation was a highlight of my trip. The resort's attention to detail is evident in every aspect, from the beautifully designed rooms to the delicious food at the on-site restaurant with also providing us with jain food. I was impressed by the view & activities including the elephant ride. The staff were nice and kind, making the experience all the more enjoyable. Overall, i highly recommend the tree house kaplavanam resort for anyone looking for a peaceful and unique stay in the heart of nature. The resort's ambiance, location, and service make it an unforgettable experience that i can't wait to return to.

If u wanna relaxation from a busy life surely u can choose kalapavanamresort. We stayed in the log house and vintage room for 2days both rooms are good. Rooms located inside the plantation, service people at the resort are also so cooperative, we can see cardamom, pepper, orange, jack fruit and many more inside the resort, food minimal and fresh food no stored food, they provide fresh juices, our welcome drink was natural mango juice. Tree house, log house, aqua house, villa type rooms are with with privacy, only the vintage rooms are next to each other. Resort located near elephant safari they reduced 100rs per person if u stayed in this resort. Compared to the resorts which were on the way to the periyal lake boating this one was best for silent and peaceful stay. We enjoyed boating, elephant safari and jungle safari at the place called shatram, and dont forget to buy tea powder and spices overall people whom don't expect amenities and coming to stay for relaxation can prefer this resort w/o fail.

Hi. I had visited the place in march22 along with my family. It was a great place with good ambiance and nature surrounded. I had been there for 3 days, they have their own elephant ride inside the resort which was so great. Kids enjoyed much and it was well secured resort with good standard. Rooms were so great with wooden furnished. We had a great walk in and around the resort and there were complete peace of mind. Staffs were so good and very humble. Foods were prepared on our request and well served with hygiene & tasty with reasonable cost. Play area for kids and swimming pool are the miss outs, which may add more value to the resort. Itvwas raining during our resort and we could see many birds & wild squirrels inside the resort. It gave us the experience on wild nature inside the resort. This is the best place for couples and families and really value for your money. Just a centre point.

If you want premium looking rooms with all wood finish, then choose this. Very calm, relaxing place with ultimate privacy for a vacation. Resort management was very polite and honest enough to call us to guide even before we reach the resort. Right from checkin till the checkout the stay was hassle free. We did not have any major concern. Room service done by a guy Aadhi had to be mentioned. He is very happy to help us to fulfill our needs immediately. Chef Muthu Krishnan made delicious food for breakfast and dinner. The resort has elephant Safari as well as a separate package for a couple apart from what we pay for the rooms. Apart from that there are no other activities arranged inside the resort (like camp fire etc.) The very important thing is, it is just 5-10 minutes drive from Kumily/Thekkady town. Worth the money we paid!

I stayed here with my mother. The place was really quiet and there was so much greenery around us, lots of spice plantation. The room was amazing and plenty of activities to do, which we tried our best to cover. The staff was polite and accommodating. The only issue we faced was coming to the place. I’d suggest if you’re booking a stay here you leave much earlier than you plan to because there is only one jeep and it can take up some time to go up and down. But that wasn’t much of a big deal if you leave a little early. We faced no issue whatsoever other than this. I’ll highly recommend the stay. It was one of the best stays on our whole trip. And the food was delicious too.

They have different types of room i've stayed in heritage home, which has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Good for two families. The rooms are bit conjusted, but it is actually an old heritage home with verandah and portico. Located isolated from other buildings inside cardamom plantation. We can drive our vehicle and park next to the building, no need to carry the lugguages. The place is calm and serene, they have an elephant camp nearby, which is open for outside people also. So if you're planning for elephant ride, do it in the morning to avoid rush. Food was tasty but quantity was less compared to the price. Over all a nice experience.

Property is good within the forest like environment. Tranquil atmosphere with all amenities. It also offers elephant ride. Children enjoy a lot.

In the midst of jungle a paradise to stay. Huge spacious rooms.

It's located in a lush green jungle & the view from the room was awesome. The jungle safari & jeep safari are available in the same complex.

Heritage property near to the main market area. Rooms are spacious and clean. Sachin was very helpful in arranging our tickets for katahkali, kalari and jeep safari. Breakfast needs improvement. Highlight of the property is its own elephant park which offers elephant ride and elephant bath experience.

We loved staying here in Kalpavanam . We've stayed here for one day. We were 8 people in total and 2 children below 1 year. Night here was mesmerizing. Total vintage feel! Service was upto the mark and staff was so helpful! We've taken package where Breakfast was included which was full of varities. It includes idli, uttapam, fruits, eggs, juice. avocado juice was soo yummm 😋 without any hesitation just go and book this property to make memories!

Location is very beautiful and close to nature. The room was very pleasant, it was cozy and clean. Breakfast was excellent and incredibly varied. The Kalpavanam Heritage Resort team has always been friendly, patient and helpful , special thanks to them for making our stay memorable
