Unusable village house being booked as homestay

Inaccessible, no means of conveyance, situated in narrow uneven bylane of village. No signboard, number or landmark. Listed with false promises of attached balcony, airconditioner, in room dining etc. A common kitchen was very dirty full of aunts and cockroach. The refrigerator was foul smelling. The entrance to the property was unguarded. The room too was unhygienic.

It's difficult to find by google maps, the host was kind enough to guide me through it. The rooms are non-ac. It has a common. The kitchen where you can prepare your food. It has a common area for yoga and other recreational activities. The rooms are okay, some of the walls are damp, especially of the rooms in the basement. However, the rooms on the 1st floor are better. What's best is the host and her humility. She's the best to recommend you food joints in Rishikesh. Beautiful as a person, dog lover, generous and kind. You'll definitely want to come again if you've lived with family.
