Katke's HomeStay

We were travelling from Bangalore to Shirdi by road and planned to stay at Solapur (as Transit stay) for overnight. Based on Google reviews and photos by travellers, we shortlisted Katke’s Homestay (for the first time we chose a homestay and were very sceptical about our choice). On the day of stay, Homestay owner (Mr. Vinayak Katke) introduced himself and sent location pics, suggested few eateries and sent other useful information. We reached to place around 4.30pm and needed some help to locate the apartment (though Mr Vinayak had forwarded pics of Apartment location, highlighted by Arrows, turn by turn – but we being lazy, preferred to call him and ask for help – even when we were standing right in front of the apartment. He came and help. We had to park our Thar and I was not preferring to park outside of Apartment gates. He moved his own car to make way inside and I was able to park the biggie inside the gates; yay. After documentation, Mr Vinayak suggested few more food places but finally we decided to feast on Vada Pav (lost count of how many we ate) and ordered through Zomato. The flat includes large hall and Kitchen, with all possible amenities for quick stay. We ordered through Zomato and used few plates from kitchen to eat the food – but also washed and kept the plates back in place to keep the whole place clean – hoped to earn brownie points from owner 😊. Next morning, we started for Shirdi, pinned the location in Google – so make it easier to reach to the Katke’s Homestay in future, when we stay at Solapur again. Mr Vinayak made our stay very comfortable.

It’s a great place to stay in solapur. It was the best experience staying there. The location is very beautiful and in the heart of the city. This place is very well maintained by the owner mr. Vinayak katke. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the owner. He is extremely friendly in nature. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. We loved the ambience. I would highly recommend this place and i would definitely want to come back to this place again. Thank you vinayak for being an excellent host. We stayed at katke's homestay for the first time. Just booked by checking the reviews on mmt. It was an excellent experience starting from the moment we reached there. The owner mr. Vinayak katke was kind enough to get in touch with us about our whereabouts and warmly welcomed us. The place had homely vibes. The flat was very clean and tidy and had all the required amenities. Overall it was an amazing stay and we will definitely prefer to book katke's homestay in our next visit also.

Overall stay was very good. Owner of the property is very nice person and very helpful. Property is excellent only thing is lacking is property is situated very inside in the city but travel-ling options available also owner gives contact number of auto driver or cab driver as per your need. And installing wifi will improve customer satisfaction more. Overall good experience it feels like home to stay here.

Overall, i was thoroughly impressed with the cleanliness at katke’s homestay it created a sense of comfort and peace of mind, making my stay truly enjoyable. Excellent stay. Rooms are very clean. Towels, bedsheets are clean. The host is very helpful. The place is very secure the host stays in the same building hence you are taken care well. The bathrooms are also clean and they provide hot water 24 hrs. Overall a very good stay. You can stay here with a family or friends.

It’s 1 bhk apartment, perfect for family stay. Having all basic amenities like induction, basic utensils, fridge, etc. Apartment is clean and good ventilation. Host mr katke is very helpful and prompt. If you are planning to explore solapur, pandharpur, tuljapur and akkalkot. It’s best place to stay.

Fantastic hosting by mr vinayak. Seamless check in, despite being at odd hour. He was prompt in his services, and helped us with local recommendations. House is clean, cozy & comfortable. Easy connectivity to main city side by autorickshaws. Swiggy delivery available! would recommend 10/10.

It's a clean, neat 1 bhk arrangement as a homestay located on the first floor. Owner mr katke is always reachable and support for needs. A good kitchen has all amenities for short cook eatings. Indeed a good option for family.

Excellent home stay option in prime location

Stay was good, 1 bhk was neat as it was shown in pics. Overall happy with the stay.

Rooms were clean and precious, can easily accommodate 7-9 people. All utensils are there for making tea and to eat if you order from zomato or swiggy.

The homestay was excellent choice for stay. Clean and decent rooms and washrooms. The property is 1bhk flat fully equipped. Gave a vrry homely feeling during the stay. Mr. Vinayak katke supported us very well not just for the stay but also for travel-ling concerns.

The host is very humble and made the property very easy for us to reach, giving directions, mapping, and even, having made a call to us. The property is very neat and tidy, friendly to use as well.
