Kemps Cave Ooty

Kemp's cave is one of the 4 properties next to each other located on the backside of the ooty lake. The proximity to the lake makes it convenient to reach the boat house, thread garden. Parking space is plenty. Food options are good enough to take care of needs all throughout the day, and the menu-card prices are reasonable. Food taste is decent. The kitchen staff was kind enough to prepare dal khichadi for my wife while she was unwell. For the family of 4, we got a room with king size bed and a small single bed. Room was spacious with a window view of the nearby locality. What we appreciated the most was drinking water provided through 20-lit water dispenser. What we missed the most provision for heating the room at a cold place like ooty. Heater is available on request at 500/night. Mosquitoes in the bathroom were bit of a nuisance. The staff is cordial, but the quality of service needs improvement. Overall, i would qualify this as a decent 3 star facility.

Perfect and very compact stay for us, 1. Need and clean 2. Staffs are very responsive (especially apprentice staff's) 3. Restaurant food's too good 4. Travel arrangement is perfect and well organized (thanks to mr. Rajkumar) attention require on: 1. Need a hussle free check-in 2. Require enough space one dish to another dish in restaurant - it's can be avoid inconvenience for family with group of guest's

Room is neat and clean. Staff are very polite and well behaved. If i come to bangalore again, will stay here. Location is good. I want to share one thing for this Kemps Cave Ooty. They have charged 1000- for heater. But heater is also included in my booking details. They have no lift but makemytrip show they have lift. This is very bad. Please don't do this.

Very good hospitality and very good service, attached food and ordered food quality both were very good. The Kemps Cave Ooty is locataionaly and economically was very good. Facility of * are available in *, it is exccellant in each and every angle

Location is amazing, Amenities and services are always available as and when needed. Breakfast is good. However, would suggest to improve the taste of Chinese food 😊 overall it has been a good experience.

Had a great stay, rooms were clean and well maintained and staffs were friendly. I would recommend to those who want stay away from the hustle and bustle from the ooty town(not too far away from ooty town)

Stay is awesome, views are good from room. Food we had breakfast. It is buffet and all items were good. Hotel location also near to commercial market. Overall satisfied with the stay.
