Konkan Nest

The stay was pleasant, rooms were average clean and food was great. The property is located in a cozy lush green space which makes you feel you are living in the middle of the forest and in an ancient setting. What could have made the stay perfect would be: 1. The property being mosquito free. 2. Washrooms having a shower/a few modern amenities (agreed that the property wants to give a rustic look but if you are calling yourselves a three star property and charging a hefty amount then make sure the amenities in the washroom are kept a little modern) 3. Ensuring the bed net is not torn 4. Keeping at-least two dustbins 5. Ensuring the tv is in working condition.

We called the property manager mr. Ganesh at @ 3 pm on 9th of september to inform that we would checking late at @ 8 pm. To our surprise, we came to know that mm t has nit informed them regarding our booking. But he immediately informed his caretaker team. Since they didn't know about our booking details, independent cottage was not kept ready and we were allotted deluxe ac room. Service of housekeeping and kitchen staff was simply great. Property is also well maintained. We had booking for 1 night with dinner and breakfast. Food was also very tasty. Mmt should improve communication system to avoid last minute confusions at the time of check in.

This is a nice rustic property designed to take you back in time. Large rooms, with old style beds and decor all complete with mud floors. It is situated in malgund a few kms away from ganapatipule. Although a bit in the interior, it is easily found using gps and offers some great feel of the flora and fauna of western ghats. Food is traditionally maharashtrian, pure vegetarian. Served with warmth a nice option if you are in for something different

Hotel is located at a very nice location where you can enjoy peacefully. Few improvements are needed as the rooms were full of cobwebs, seems not cleaned from many days. Rats were found running around in the rooms. We stayed for 2 days. Experienced good customer service on the first day. But second day was a let down. Food quality was good & simple, but quite costly considering the the menu they serve.

Beautiful property. Wada type design feels you in a different place. Lush green, serene konkan, neat and clean not only rooms but entire property. Peaceful stay. Best for family trips. Need improvement in service. It is bit slow. This may be because of diwali period also. But overall it is nice to stay here. Satisfied.

The stay was surrounded with greens and nature. The staff was friendly and warm! we liked the rooms, they were neat and nice.

The stay was awesome and room was very specious and clean. We like to the theme of Konkan Nest. Although heat was so intense outside we find room was cooler. Lunch and dinner price was bit to high but food was tasty and homely. We recommend family and groups to stay here.

The stay and the concept is excellent the staff is very cooperative and helping the only issue with property is they don’t have a fully operational kitchen for day time as well because of which there are many problems with getting food whenever needed. If this issue is solved it’s going to be miraculous

Awesome place nice ambience feels like old kokan many things took me in my childhood like straight bars in window door sizes the floor which was made from cow-dung awesome place awesome feeling.

Propriety is really good and location is fantastic. A diiferent feel and heritage like ambience. Clean and neat, well maintained.

It is a good property although it being out of the city and in the winderness. It served the concept. Good service, if one wants to runaway from the worldly nuisance konkan nest is the right place.
