I was so disappointed with the stay

The location is good, and the ambience is also good. But not suitable for small groups or families, there is a bar located within the same compound. The services were acceptable, however the cost of the food and other additional services are very high. The food cost almost double the usual at this property.

Location is good and quite peaceful. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

Had a wonderful stay ! The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the serene lake view made it truly relaxing. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway.

★☆☆☆☆ Not for Families – Never Ever Book This Hotel We booked Kovilakam Heritage through MakeMyTrip based on attractive photos but the reality was shocking. The rooms are extremely small and nothing like the pictures shown online. This is basically a local bar filled with drunkards and absolutely not suitable for families. The environment felt unsafe and uncomfortable from the moment we entered. There was no proper management or responsible staff to address concerns. We didn’t even stay the night due to how bad it was and to make things worse, there was no refund either. This place is a total disappointment and a waste of money. Never ever book this hotel. Strongly not recommended.

We were sold the hotel booking with 2 meals. But hotel didn’t accept and didn’t give us food till 11 pm and we just slept without food. In the morning checkout there is no one in the hotel. We were waiting for 30 minutes and just left by keeping the key at reception. Moreover the place looks good but in the evening it’s all drunker all around the place. Very bad for family stay.

Worst experience ever. It is attached to a local bar and fully crowded all the time. Not recommended for family and kids. I never tasted such flop food in my life. I paid a higher amount not even a percentage worth for that money

The hotel is nothing but a bar. The room is small without ventilation. The bathroom is old and untidy. There are drunkards everywhere. It’s not at all safe for women or family. There are frequent power supply problems. The rooms are not even well lit the hall even is not well lit and we get scared in the evening. I had booked a stay for four days but i had to vacate in four hours because of the horrible condition of the hotel, it’s only suitable for drunkards.

Very very bad service &worst experience don't waste your money, break fast 600 paid in booking time and get very bad food also

My wife and i stayed there one night. I understood we are only there in the block. Basically this hotel is a bar and huge crowd comes there for drinking. It's not a good choice for family on weekends. The room is good and the kovilakam house is worthy for a photo shoot. The worst part is i booked a complimentary breakfast but understood they serve breakfast after 9am. I have to leave the hotel 8am without breakfast. Overall location wise is good and it's good for bachelors to enjoy not for families specially on weekends

The place is not safe for single women. It's badly maintained and people (only men) come here to drink only.

A marvelous place, location to have a tourist resort. Bet-he side if periya river, and just across the bridge, a stone s throw from the famous thiruvairanikkulam shiva parvathy temple in kerala, known as the wo. En' s sabarimala. Very comfortable rooms. And interiors however, the resort does not seem to attract many tourists. Is the management very interested, aggressive in their promotion? my sincere response is a no. The locals have good time having a few pegs of alcohol and cigarettes, very disturbing to the tourists coming there from different place. Make it spicy and clean. Get the security a little more responsive and smiling to the viditors. They seem to enjoy " government employment " certainly worth to be a gem if utmost care is taken

It's a worst experience in the resort. No reception, there were flies and mosquitoes in the room and also spider in the washroom. Food was pathetic. Overall is waste of money to stay in such kind of of hotel

The property is beautiful right by periyar river. 3 friends stayed the night and the service was great.

It’s a bar not a resort not for family will suit well for bachelors party ambience is good boys and men can have fun. Food servers is average

The hotel is in the right location and has a good ambiance. Need to provide good service and better hospitality. The staff should be agile. The freshroom maintenance is poor. We booked for three adult and extra beds not available, and the reception staff was not available at desk and on calls. The breakfast was pathetic. No value for money and provided by 9. 30am. The staff is just spoiling the brand.

It's not recommended for family stay, it has local bar vibes. Not very secured for solo girls stay. Breakfast options are not great. Not worth the amount paid.
