Kovilakam Residency

I had a reasonably long stay at the Kovilakam Residency on Mini By-Pass road, opposite Aster MIMS hospital. MIMS hospital is the most appropriate landmark to reach this Kovilakam Residency. Another advantage of its location is that you could hail a cab or rickshaw or ride a bus to your place of work in the city. The reception is manned 24 hrs of the day. You could check in or check out any time of the day or night. I also was impressed with the ambiance and layout of the foyer. The standard room allotted to me was spacious, well furnished and effectively air-conditioned. Despite the heavy traffic on the road, outside noise seldom affected me. The curtain, linen and bath towels were clean and the housekeeping staff tended to the room each day without my prompting. The room and the toilet were clean and hygienic. Room service started at 6 am. The staff was trained and friendly and it reflected in the way they served their customers. The breakfast included both south Indian and continental dishes. I enjoyed the vast spread of dishes and their quality. I must admit that I had to resist my temptation to indulge! If you are on the lookout for typical non-vegetarian Kerala menu, Kovilakam restaurant won't upset you! Overall I would say, this is not a luxury place but a professionally managed, elegant Kovilakam Residency and would certainly surprise you.

I just finished my third visit to Calicut but it was my first stay at Kovilakam Residency. I wish I had stayed there on my previous two visits, and I will certainly stay there when I next return. It is a very well maintained and very clean Kovilakam Residency. The reception, housekeeping, restaurant and bar staff were all excellent. Polite, professional, friendly and helpful. My room was simple but spacious and very clean. It had a good a/c, working mini fridge, good wifi and was very clean. The hot water worked in shower but pressure was possibly a little low. It was still fine though. The buffet breakfast each morning was tasty and service in the restaurant was very good. I would happily recommend this Kovilakam Residency to others.

During my stay I felt that it was a pleasant and calm stay. It was isolated from the rest of the congested city and had a calm environment. The room had a refrigerator, a television, a table, some chairs and so on. The furnitures we're good and it's easy to stay there since it was near to the bus station and railway station. The hospitality offered by the Kovilakam Residency management was so nice and I happily enjoyed my stay at Kovilakam Residency when compared to rest of the Kovilakam Residency that I stayed.

All good. Location of the Kovilakam Residency is good. Its location is very convenient as you can go anywhere in and around Kozhikode easily Food was also good even though I think they can improve. The staff was all helpful and friendly. Good parking facilities, room was good enough. The TV was the worst thing. It was a really old one. Bathroom was OK, clean. Except the T V everything was fine in the room. Room was spacious. Well furnished. Breakfast was really awesome especially the oddly and tomato chutney.

The Kovilakam Residency is good. At Check in I was insisted to fill the complete form by hand which usually other Kovilakam Residency just tell to sign and the rest is taken care by them. TV was old CRT tube with few channels. Wi-Fi signals were weak. Hotel was very clean. Buffet Breakfast did not have much varieties specially I noticed many Arab customers and simply nothing was to their taste. Location of Kovilakam Residency is good. Great value for money.

I booked this place because of the location and above-average rating. The Kovilakam Residency is located right in front of aster hospital, so all the shops around are open 24\7. It is close to the bus stand and can be reached by auto. The room was very nice and clean and the staff was friendly, and i would gladly return there. Added value was the breakfast that came with the booking, the food was tasty enough, and overall happy with the experience.

I traveled to Kozhikode for 3 day visit. I had a pleasant stay at Kovilakom Residency. The rooms were clean. The rooms were sufficiently spacious and I had a comfortable stay for my entire trip. The room service and the front desk were excellent. My train arrived early in the morning and the Kovilakam Residency graciously let me check-in early and I am really thankful for that. Overall this is a good Kovilakam Residency.

Mr. Midhun of the Kovilakam Residency was so cooperative and was quite helpful in sharing the cab details etc. Very good Kovilakam Residency with polite staff. From airport to Kovilakam Residency mr abhinav drove us as was so helpful in giving the information on what to see, where to eat etc. Breakfast was good. Neat and clean Kovilakam Residency. I recommend this Kovilakam Residency to my friends

Hotel cleanliness and service is excellent

I’m a regular customer in Kovilakam Kovilakam Residency since years.The quality is improving day by day. Room, service, professional staff, food, buffets, child safety measures, fire safety measures, near to city and hospital, worth for the money.

Rooms are very good, well maintained. Room service is prompt. Food is average. Restaurant is understaffed, so you may see some hiccups in service. Hotel staff is friendly. Most importantly the Kovilakam Residency is disabled friendly.

Very nice location, courteous staff, clean room with linen and basic toileteries .. Close to eateries and restaurants so no need to worry about that. I have stayed there two times and both the times stay was very comfortable

The location of this Kovilakam Residency is good. All staff was good. They have a restaurant on the ground floor and the room service was quick. The room was big with a dining table for 2, a fridge, cabinet and 2 beds. Bathroom was clean and tidy. Real value for money. Will book again

Room was neat and clean, also spacious. Toilets very nice one. Overall the staying at kovilkom was compfortable. All pick up taxi, bus and auto available in front of residence. Airport picking fascility from Kovilakam Residency is chip and I have manage it within Rs 70. Overall this redidence is value for money.

The room and facilities were at par with that of golden tulip at new Delhi. Which is a high class star Kovilakam Residency. The toilet was clean and well maintained. Only thing I hated was the TV. It was an old TV and not a new one.

Good rooms and service was good. Being a regular visitor I find that the maintenance is good and house keeping excellent.

Accessibility to this Kovilakam Residency from the NH is very much there. Local amenities and all other convenience and nearness to the city centre is also good about Kovilakom. The staff where hospitable and well mannered. I would like to stay in this Kovilakam Residency again in my next visit to Calicut.

A very decent place to stay, good value for money. The location of the Kovilakam Residency is ideal. Good experience except for the rude and inhospitable receptionist lady.

Though I booked for an economic room initially, I had no problem in upgrading to a better room on reaching there. The idli sambar of this place was awesome. I would be glad to stay here any number of times!
