Everything was perfect, room, cleanliness, comfort, privacy, view. 2minutes walkable from Mayra Point so one can easily witnesses excellent sunrise, during winter sunrise approximately6.50am one should not miss this. Food was home cooked and delicious and overall stay was pleasant and reasonable. To reach this property need to walk from Matheran railway station so that is only cons but this walk was worth to get such an awesome property. Host is also good, whatever you asked he say yes if it’s possible due to upcoming elections in Matheran he was little busy so he said he cannot arrange barbecue even on extra cost but food was delicious. Thank you for making our trip great!!

Stay and owners courtesy is good. In terms of food variety, very less options was available. It could have been better. Children play activities could be introduced.

The location was surrounded by nature.And it was near the Myra point.The breakfast and Dinner was delicious.There was a mini garden too.Proper care was taken too avoid monkeys coming in.Their service was also good.And they were polite.

Really so nice experience in Krishna Cottage near to toy train track Good service with Good tasty food They have only 3 rooms so u can get privacy in whole Cottage Rooms are so big and also have 2 beds in every room. Cottage has also sitting area in outside. Over all it was a memorable experience in matheran.

The property was nice, and the owner was friendly. However, the food was quite disappointing. We ordered a Chicken Thali for ₹300, but it included only four small pieces of chicken, a small portion of rice, two roti's, one chapati, and a papad — with no dal or vegetables served. Definitely not worth the price.

The stay was excellent … The owners makes sure we feel comfertable and well taken care off …especially aunty ka hath ka poha and chai is a must try for breakfast …as far as the amenities are concerned they have got it all covered ,all in all the stay was worth the money

Must Visit! It's always been my go to place in Matheran. The food is just so amazing. The hosts are very kind and polite. The place is very beautiful and calm. The place is so clean. Overall experience was great.

property is really good same as the pictures, food is also excellent, rooms are clean and tidy ,was great experience when travelled with family highly recommend just some electricity issue but they have inverter so not much of issue just dim lights

I really like the Kshitij Cottage, the location is perfect, surrounded by lush green planet and perfect for a family who wants peace and quiet. The Owner/Caretaker are really friendly and always there to help, they have kept the cottage in really good condition and the food was also really amazing.

Stayed at Kshitij Cottage during Matheran trip. Very clean room, all comforts and facilities. The rooms and surroundings are beautifully decorated, so the family feels very nice and happy. Mr. Rajendra More, the owner, is very nice and cooperative. Excellent tea, coffee, breakfast and delicious food in the morning are also the specialty here. It feels so good to stay here that I don't want to check out. The atmosphere around this room at night is also very beautiful. Very nice accommodation for the family and the great cooperation of Mr. Rajendra makes Kshitij Cottage also a point in the Matheran trip. Thanks Kshitij Cottage and Rajendraji.

It was a pleasant stay with the well maintained and hygienic place. This stay really feels like home away from home!

Very good location. Just 10 min walk from main market. Very good host. It's a homestay so there is no staff there, but the couple are very humble. . Don't eat outside, as the home food by them was just excellent. Nice cozy big clean rooms. And a cute small garden. Can't ask more. Go for it.

initially it was disappointed while check in cottage.. it was home stay.. it's very faar from market place.. but rooms was neat and clean.. and food is also delicious. rate was affordable. They have outdoor area where you can sit on swing and enjoy at night time. room service also commendable.
