We looked for something close to Bangalore that we can visit quickly and spend a day out. After reaching KSTDC Hotel Mayura Bharachukki Shivanasamudra, the staff was courteous and helped su with room details and even moving luggage to room. The room was just awesome with beautiful views of plains and distant mountains. It was cleaned well. And AC room helped a lot since it was too hot around the KSTDC Hotel Mayura Bharachukki Shivanasamudra. There was an issue with the water kettle heater which once reported was promptly addressed. Coming to food, we were looking to try something non-fancy and the menu for good enough for that. Lunch - gobi Manchurian and fried rice - good Snacks - onion pakoda and tea - awesome.. We ended up ordering two extra teas Dinner - we too chapati n aloo gobhi. To our surprise, it was very homely warmed and great taste. Very satisfactory. Breakfast - complementary - well this was not so great, we took idli n Dosa. But not that good. Location: the location is away from civilization, so ensure you have all that you need with you. But once you are here, you can then just relax. Walk around the parking areas. Play with rabbits. Slow Internet makes it much more relaxing. 🤣 Overall: if you consider it's a govt organizational-run KSTDC Hotel Mayura Bharachukki Shivanasamudra chain, it was just awesome. Didn't expect such great hospitality. They kept surprising us at every moment. Great stay and great food. Will come with my family again.

The property is located in a remote area but has the most astounding view. The location of the property is its usp. It's very close to the bharachukki falls. Book the 1st floor rooms. They provide the best sunrise and sunset view. The rooms are very spacious and have a nice layout. The deluxe rooms have a nice balcony. Although the common areas of the property is neat and clean, the room was not that clean, especially the bathroom. Food was a major disappointment both in terms of taste and service. The KSTDC Hotel Mayura Bharachukki Shivanasamudra is understaffed and can't handle weekend rush. There was no service of any kind when we visited on the weekend. We had to carry our own baggage to the first floor rooms. Also, no complimentary mineral water bottles are provided. You have to buy them. Nevertheless, if you wish to spend some peaceful and quality time away from the noise of the city amid-st the beauty of nature, this is the place to be, especially in this budget. In-spite of being in a remote area, the place is safe for family. Maybe service is good during the weekdays so plan your trip accordingly. Also, please note that you can't view the waterfalls from the property but it has breathtaking view of the hills, fields and river.

- excellent location, good food and i liked the dining area most - good for short stay ~2 nights - best to go during monsoon as it will be more green and you will water in the river and in the fall, in jean there was hardy any water and it was dry. - the rooms were very basic and have worn out look, but the staff is maintaining it well and everything was functional - the KSTDC Hotel Mayura Bharachukki Shivanasamudra is amid jungle, vast fields and located on a narrow side road with little/no traffic that joins the main road to barachukki falls after 1. 0km. The back side of the KSTDC Hotel Mayura Bharachukki Shivanasamudra is very close to one of the cauvery stream that goes into barachukki falls within 500 m. You can walk down to that stream and is hardly 700 m walk. - in the night we tried walking on the road after dinner as the sky was clear and it was nice and cool, but it was dark and we saw few wild boars running on the ridge next to the road and there were other animals also, so could not go more than 100m from KSTDC Hotel Mayura Bharachukki Shivanasamudra on either side. Staff also suggested not to walk beyond the area lit by KSTDC Hotel Mayura Bharachukki Shivanasamudra flood light.

Hotel facilities and staff friendliness are top notch except the non-availability of ac in standard ac rooms during power-cuts. They do not turn on the backup generator until you repeatedly ask them. During nights you are left with just a fan despite the hot and humid weather prevalent here throughout the year, including september. The power-cuts are too frequent and can really hamper your sleep after midnight as there is no one you can reach out to at that time. Apart from the power issues with acs, we found the KSTDC Hotel Mayura Bharachukki Shivanasamudra well-equipped and fully-functional. Food quality and taste are consistently good as per the standards set by kstdc. However, only limited number of items are available at any given time which is major setback when you want to try out something different!

The KSTDC Hotel Mayura Bharachukki Shivanasamudra is situation in the middle of no-where but right on the main road connecting to barachukki falls. It's well connected and the location is amazing with a great view on all sides. We booked the suite. The room was spacious and clean. The balcony was huge overlooking the nearby hills. It faced west - so we got an amazing view of the sunset. The food is standard. I wouldn't recommend being too experimental with the food here. The dosa and coffee were perfect though. The staff were very very friendly and we felt well taken care of. Highly recommended KSTDC Hotel Mayura Bharachukki Shivanasamudra if anyone is planning to spend a night or more in the area.

Kstdc KSTDC Hotel Mayura Bharachukki Shivanasamudra maurya, barachukki shivanasamudra is a very good stay option in barachukki. Rooms were clean and tidy. Room service was prompt. Rooms were spacious with tv, two normal chair and two premium chairs. Bed was comfortable. Washroom had all the required toileteries. We were fortunate enough to get a room with balcony. Balcony was very spacious with view of open grassland with mountains in backdrop. It gave a feeling of perfect safari get away. The only drawback i felt was the limited food options available, however the prices were nominal. I would recommend this KSTDC Hotel Mayura Bharachukki Shivanasamudra for your next offbeat trip. The KSTDC Hotel Mayura Bharachukki Shivanasamudra is located at the scenic place. Has been maintained quite well. Rooms are quite spacious and. From a location point this is about a km and half from bharachukki falls. Talakadu is an hour's drive (about 26 km). So if in case you have planned to stay till late in the evening in talakadu, then this is the place to stay. In terms of food, options are limited for both breakfast as well as lunch/dinner. Service can further improve as both days i had to request water bottles. Overall good experience.

It's at a great location on top of a small hillock where you can see the surrounding farms and hills. The gurgling of Kaveri and the Gaganchukki falls can be heard from the place. Barachukki falls viewpoint is very close by - 5 minutes by car. The restaurant is nicely done with 360° views through the large glass windows. The suite room was really large with a separate living and dressing areas and a large balcony. Food was alright.

Stayed at mayura bharachukki with family for a night and the rooms are spacious with a comfortable bed. Very cleanly maintained washrooms and excellent service from all the staff. The restaurant provides tasty food and the quality of rooms for just around 2k is more than value for money. Overall a pleasant experience and would love to stay here again

Hotel room was good, clean, well maintained. Being managed by govt the facilities are nothing less than a pvt property

For safety from covid perspective, they sanitize the luggage upon chevk in but before sending to room. There are sanitizers at all entrances points. Staff uses face mask and maintains necessary protocol to ensure safety. Location is very good. It is next to a cabal and just 1 kms from the falls. Restaurant is open from 7 am to 9 pm, and fish fry is a must try. Staff is very courteous and helpful.

We had a pleasant experience staying in the KSTDC Hotel Mayura Bharachukki Shivanasamudra. Staff and their service was good. Location was nice, with birds and peacocks waking you up. Minor issues were, we didn't get hit water early in the morning (but was at room temperature) and had some water clogging in the sink. Which could've been avoided by the management. Might be specific to the room. Overall a good experience

It was an amazing experience to stay here. The KSTDC Hotel Mayura Bharachukki Shivanasamudra is recently renovated. We stayed in the suite and it was really luxurious. Very neat, tidy and spacious. Nice classy room with balcony was opted, bit of confussion on booking, later the manager agreed to give room with balcony at an extra cost of rs 580, clean n hygiene rooms/bathroom. Food was good, need to improve on taste. Over all stay was satisfactory.
