KSTDC Hotel Mayura Bhuvaneshwari Kamalapur

My family and I recently had an overnight stay at the KSTDC Mayura Bhuvaneshwari hotel, and unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. I had booked two AC deluxe rooms, which, despite their spaciousness, were noticeably damp and emitted a pervasive musty odor. The beds, wardrobe, and other furnishings appeared quite old and were poorly maintained. Furthermore, the linen and towels provided were stained and torn. In one of the rooms, the air conditioning unit was antiquated and dysfunctional, while the fan produced a significant amount of noise. Given that it was a holiday season and alternative accommodations were unavailable, we had no option but to endure these conditions. The hotel also features an attached bar and restaurant, but cleanliness is a major concern. The restaurant, in particular, had an unpleasant and pervasive odor. On a positive note, the hotel property itself is quite expansive, surrounded by a garden, and offers ample parking space. Dormitory accommodation was also provided for drivers. Additionally, several Hampi monuments are conveniently located near the property. However, I would unequivocally state that I will not be returning to this hotel, nor would I recommend it to other travelers. It is a large property suffering from a complete lack of maintenance.

Property location is good. Entry is dark at night,not suitable for quiet walks. Service is slow. Food taste is good. Portion is small. They didn't clean the room even once during our 3night stay.

The size of the property was huge with excellent location. Most of the tourist places were nearby. Excellent facilities. Only the rooms were bit old and the AC was making noise. The staffs were very cooperative with good behaviour.

Room was small. Furnitures were old, no sofa present in the room though it was maintained at booking site. Food was expensive, though area of the hotel is large and the receptionist and other staffs are very much co operative.

A very big hotel near the Hampi monuments but with average experience in terms of maintenance of the hotel and the rooms

Not at all good experience to stay .i demand for refund of my money .the place was not good we paid money for rest and we have to deal with ants in washroom and no one was interested also

The rooms were not clean, not worth the money paid.. both semi deluxe and double deluxe rooms are very old and unclean.. some room was ok

Mayurakshi Bhuvaneswari in Kamalapura is in good location, but quality of rooms is a Pathetic. Double deluxe room has dirty walls and worst bathroom walls/doors. If you can find a better option, don't go for this hotel

Location :5/5 , room : 3/5 (big size but found torn mattresses, bedsheet having blood stains which were not thoroughly checked by them before we visited.) , food : 1/5 ( i wish i can chose below 0)

Govt Property, so went with very less expectations. It was below average experience. Room clinness was not good.

The location is accessible and centrally located. The hotel's premises are nice and the restaurant is average, but dormitories are worthless, do not ever visit in that

The hotel is fanastically situated but the amenities promised were not made available,they said you have to upgrade the room While they were cooperative by extending our stay for which we paid ,they didn't provide anything like water or toiletries. The bathrooms were quite untidy to say the least. Overall stay was good at that rate.🙏

Location is near to hampi attractions. You can take autorickshaw or bicycle for exploring the surrounding. Food was good,but they had limited options. Room was not properly clean. there were insects in the room.

Poorly maintained. Dirty linen. AC not working. Power cut at night. Utensils in the restaurant were dirty. Extremely disappointing

The place is aptly located. It has nice surroundings and a garden. The rooms vary from Ok to really good options. I preferred the Double Deluxe room, which is quite roomy with a garden view. The restaurant breakfast and dinner was good but they should introduce local food as well, which will give visitors a local flavour. The staff is friendly and I was overwhelmed by the warmth and hospitality of managers - Laxmi ma'am and Basvaraj Sir. Overall, the stay was lovely and memorable.

unlike what the review says, I found the resort to be good. I booked presidential suit and the rooms were specious and maintained. food at the restaurant was good and hygienic. Stuffs were very cooperative The location was perfect for covering all the places including coracle ride. Overall my 4 night stay was good.

No power backup during power cut, hotel staff always try to avoid room service, so many regulations like a hostel. Just infront of the room window some construction works are going day long.
