The stay at kstdc KSTDC Hotel Mayura Riverview Srirangapatna mayura riverview at srirangapatna was very pleasant. We, as a family, stayed in a ac double room for a single night. The room had a balcony that overlooked the river cauvery. The property is quite spacious amid-st lush greenery. The soothing sounds of the water combined with the gentle breeze under a canopy of trees made for a relaxing getaway. Now, a bit on the gastronomic aspect. On weekends, meals (thalis) may not be available for lunch. However, the parathas we ordered were awesome. The complimentary breakfast offered was simple however had enough punch to make it a hearty one. The staff was courteous and helpful. The only regret was not being able to spend more time at the property. If you are looking for a ideal place to stopover on the way to destinations beyond mysore or simply looking for a idyllic weekend without burning a hole in your pocket, i would highly recommend this place.

We booked 4 non ac rooms which are in backyards of the main building. Rooms were good, amenities are as expected. But room service is horrible. For any order tea or food they will take minimum 45 minutes. We ordered 6 beers for six persons, beer served but with only 4 glasses. We had to wait for 20 minutes for other 2 glasses that too after shouting at restourant manager. Food taste is not upto the mark. They are increasing the number of rooms and the price but not capable of managing crowd in weekends when all rooms are full because of very less man power. We asked for one extra mattress on extra cost, assured by manager but not provided. At the time of check out he asked for the amount of extra mattress though it was not provided. Very poor service.

It was a mesmerising experience. The location is excellent - right on the banks of kaveri river and surrounded by lush green landscape. There are three river ghats in the property. You can spend hours sitting there soaking in all the cool breeze with all different bird sounds while dipping your feet in the crystal clear river water and spotting fishes and birds all along. Don’t miss the boat ride on the property we spotted two peacocks and one with open feathers. The property has many mango trees so we could collect few ripe ones. If you are restricting only to breakfast, no complain on food otherwise it can be improved. Overall, it was nice stay with lots of surprises.

It was short stay however the vibes of the KSTDC Hotel Mayura Riverview Srirangapatna and the environment still makes me feel, we are missing something. Close call with nature, birds chirping river side. Chilling under the shades of majestic trees around just carries away all the stress you have. But must say the experience of stay in cottage is unbeatable. The location of the KSTDC Hotel Mayura Riverview Srirangapatna is such that travel time to see around places don't make you stressed out. Coracle ride in the lake early morning or evening is a must. In short we just had a great time and wish to visit there again. The stafs are courteous and polite. Very helpful!

When we heard this resort has part of the Kaveri flowing by it we decided to book the place. Place was indeed very good…the sound and visual of flowing waters bought a calm and serene to the mind. Food was average, we only had breakfast there. The AC rooms were large and spacious. One thing we were very disappointed with is the price. Being a KSTDC property thought it would be reasonable but for an AC room was bit too highly priced while we have been to other better resorts for a much lesser price with great breakfast spread. Request management to work on the pricing. Thank you.

Our stay at mayura river view, srirangapatana, was quite a relaxing experience. We had checked in to a room with a river-facing balcony. The nice part was we could drive right up to the room. The balcony was as big or even bigger than the room! the view from here of the river is splendid. We had lemon chicken with fried rice for dinner. The room service was prompt and the staff were very friendly. The food was yummy. The complimentary breakfast too was excellent. All in all, it was a wonderful stay.

I have visited this place 6 times till now. The river view and location is pleasant. If you wanna escape from daily busy life and wanna peaceful then you can visit mayura river resort. However, rooms are still the same as how was it some 4 or 5 years before. Rooms could be far better, if this was private resort then they would have maintained the rooms well i guess. For those rooms price is bit higher( but i pay only for the view, its calm.

The riverview is great. Eating by the riverside is a joy. Food is simple and homely. The staff is polite and helpful. Being so near to mysore it's very convenient to attend to business in the city and get back to the quiet and lovely surroundings of the KSTDC Hotel Mayura Riverview Srirangapatna. It's a good place to walk and kids can enjoy playtime in a special area reserved for them. All in all, a place which has repeat value.

The title says it all. The location is amazing for the price and for a government run setup. The rooms are decent and tidy, yet there is room for improvement. The food is simply bad. Except for a few dishes others are bad.

Good ambience and hospitality. Helpful staff. Good visiting spots nearby. Losts of greenery is there. Boat ride experience was unique and enriching

Location - excellent food - need to be improved. Breakfast - not upto mark. Lunch and dinner - ok, but can be improved. Amenities - need lot of improvement. It was better before, but not maintained properly. These things if improved would make the stay from nice to an excellent one.

Drift back memory lane, brought back dome experience of my childhood, the joy of the boat ride and the joy of hand fishing too. The property had some delights for traveller such as me and some friends

Location is superb. We took bath in kaveri. Easy access to highway

It was a great resort, peaceful place. River flows next to it and they also have boating where they charge 100 rs per person. It is very peaceful. Breakfast is also nice. Only issue is seems like there is no power backup because in case of powercut there was no fan working. So if you are planning to wfh it could be a problemm

Resort is worth for the location. Rooms are of decent quality and size. Staff has a laid-back attitude, but was friendly. Breakfast starts at 8:30 am and they are good. Rest of the food was of average quality, nothing to complain about. Ample parking space is there. So over all, a good experience

The staff are very helpful. Good location to stay. Cleanliness is good, scope to improve more.

Amazing place to stay with your family for a day. Spend time eating fresh cooked food at the mayura kitchen. Ac cottage is so good, it can give some good KSTDC Hotel Mayura Riverview Srirangapatnas a run for its quality

Nice location, soft spoken and helpful staff. I will stay here again next time. Food is tasty. I stayed in cottage, it's very good and spacious.

Good atmosphere. Rooms are good with hygiene. Thanks. But for KSTDC Hotel Mayura Riverview Srirangapatna service needs to be improve with fast service and various dishes.
