KTDC Kumarakom Gateway

Had spent a day at the place with some sightseeing along the thaneermukkam bund bridge. As a i was traveling solo, wanted to spend some time away from my daily routine and this was an apt choice. Enjoyed reading beside the lake with slight breeze throughout the day. Other amenities were also good, although there were some wear & tear, which i guess is because the property is bit old. The staff were also courteous, and they delivered the complementary breakfast to my room even after i had missed the timings (should also mention them calling & remembering me about the same. Everything was cleaned & sanitised, and the surroundings are well kept with daily cleaning. On the whole the experience was worth the money i spent, and would visit again if i get the chance

Visited along with family. The property is situated besides vembanad lake thanneermukkam bund opposite to. Kumarakom. The price is not high compared to rates at kumarakom. The occupancy was less, so children enjoyed a lot in their own privacy. The authorities can improve outdoor dining or leisure facilities as there is so much open space available. The drawback i felt was there is only one restaurant available. On the day of our stay the restaurant was booked for some private party. The parking and restaurant was fully occupied leaving no space for guests. This should be taken care

I stayed with my wife. I have booked for only 1 night but it was less and wanted to stay more. The resort was really nicely made considering its local as well as traditional values. Food presentation good, varieties good, taste good. All together we were very much satisfied by food they served, especially deserts. Environment is good, because of River view and good natural places. Totally we satisfied.

Liked this KTDC Kumarakom Gateway for its location and its vast and well maintained open space. The balcony view facing the backwaters is the best. Our breakfast and lunch, a bit overpriced was very good, though it had less variety. This is the best KTDC Kumarakom Gateway for short stays and you better have a vehicle to travel around, as this is a bit far from the tourist locations, spacious rooms.

Very good service by the staff. Social distancing was maintained all times. The group was breifed of all covid protocols to be followed whilst the stay. The KTDC Kumarakom Gateway was easily identified by maps and boards. The food timings were told and correctly followed. They recommended to order the food to the room rather than using the dining area to be safe. The service was brilliant

This property is developed in year 2005 but looks older may be due to maintenance. We stayed in Trivendram KTDC which was built in year 1985 but far superior than this. Rooms are big. Surrounding is awesome. It is lake touch with awesome sunrise view. Food is not that great also KTDC KTDC Kumarakom Gateways charge heavy amount. Overall it was good stay.

Stayed here for one day on the way from thekkady to alleppey. The property owned by ktdc is situated just beside vembanad lake. It provides beautiful view of lake and the band. The resort is well spacious with beautiful gardens and lawns inside. There’s cycle to roam inside resort. Food is very nice. And the rooms are clean spacious and comfortable.

Very friendly management and reception staff. Helped a lot. Clean and tidy KTDC Kumarakom Gateway and located just opposite to taxi and bus stand for easier travel to places nearby. The only challange we faced was with the kitchen. The staff was reluctant to cook north meals from the menu. Large rooms for a family of 4. With additional single bed.

Not far from town. Good food and stay. Food is little expensive

Resort rooms are very neat ans cleanly maintained. Very green ambiance and nice stay. Restaurants service takes some time that's a bit problem. We had taken lot of photos on lake. In nut shell one must select this option.

Food is repeat after 2days, wash room needs total overhaul. Peaceful location. Mosquito an issue.

Staff, room and locations all good. Excellent value for money, however TV features only Kerala channels. Tourist attractions are about 7-9kms away. The place is well maintained and is good for family visit as well. Go in the nature's lap and enjoy.

They? Arranged everything properly and to our satisfaction even at a short notice. The location is really awesome! The view of the lake in the morning was relaxing. One can spend hours at a stretch simply watching the lake.

Pros: 1. Allowed early check-in at no additional cost. 2. Staff were polite and friendly. 3. Near to Thanneermukkom Bus stop. Cons: 1. Cleanliness, could have been better. 2. Location, 45 minutes drive to Alleppey town.

Very good accommodation for family

A great place for a quiet weekend.

Decent rooms. Ok service. Excellent location and scenery. Good Kerala food overall a 3.5/5 kinda experience for more. Considering the cheap prices and celebrating the experience. The property is situated at an excellent location. Half an hour for very good beaches and half an hour from Kumarakom.
