KTDC Loom Land

The overall stay for 2 days was good and some good things which I liked with the KTDC KTDC Loom Land are. • Courteous staff with smiling face and willing to help when requested for. During 2 days of stay, had met different staffs at different time and all were good and courteous. • Rooms were well maintained with good ambient lightings. • Hot water available with heater facility and guests can use when required. Kettle is also provided in all rooms. • Overall, rooms are pleasant and neatly maintained. Now let me share some practical things which I don’t consider as a big negative, however can be helpful for some. • I could not find a lift facility available anywhere. Not sure if it is there at some other side. In case if not there, it might be difficult if you are staying with old people or people with difficulties for climbing steps. Please call the reception and confirm. • We may not get room boy assistance during check in and checkout. This may not be an important thing for business travellers or people with less luggage, however when you are travelling with old people and with large number of luggage, it can be a concern. Not sure if it is there and I could not get it. During check in as well as check out, I did not find any assistance like that. • Complimentary breakfast – Food taste was OK-OK; but do not expect to have lot of options in the breakfast menu like a buffet. Very Limited options with 3-4 items and I believe that it will vary according to the crowd / reservations in KTDC Loom Land.

Hailing from north india, i had a very negative perception (based on past experiences) about stays managed by the government. But, ktdc properties have come as a pleasant surprise. I had also stayed at a ktdc property in wayanad. One must say - govt of kerala is doing a fantastic job, and no wonder kerala has featured in the new york times list of places to be visited in 2023. Kerala is the only state in india which has been featured. Ktdc loom-land has spacious rooms, we stayed in a basic room, but, that was also spacious and neat. They serve amazing fish biriyani, freshly made dosa and all other stuff.

I was to attend a function at kannur and choose to stay at ktdc KTDC Loom Land lomb land through makemytrip check-in was quick and finished the process within five minutes i stayed in room 207 first floor, there is no lift on the KTDC Loom Land is a big negative room was clean and well appointed but very congested it is difficult for twin occupancy one side of the coat is close to the wall and difficult to move from that side bath room is spacious and provided all toiletries location of the property is pretty good overall experience i give 4 out of 5

This is the second time we are staying here. Rooms are very clean with the supply of kettle, tea bags, cream, and sugar. Bathrooms have a dental kit, shaving kit besides soap and shampoo. Glasses were covered in paper. Only one issue was the fans. Both were either full blast or off. Ac was good. Didn't realize there is a heater button outside the bathroom until after a cold bath.

stay in the room and everything excellent including approach of staff members, food very delicious and healthy., complementary breakfast very good. toilet is ok but needs improvement.. i recommend this KTDC Loom Land for a safe stay at kannur town.👍. suresh sukumaran assistant manager (retd) new india assurance trivandrum. thank you 🙏

It is centrally located near kannur railway station - inf-act it is walkable distance from the station. Food was excellent & restaurant was very clean & tidy. The room was also well kept. Only drawback of the property is that they don't have an elevator. Only staircase is available.

My family had a overnight stay. Due to rain & road block, we checked in-by midnight. Restuarant staff was very supportive to have arranged dinner for us. Rooms & toilet were clean. Breakfast was reasonably ok, could have been better. Overall recommended as value for money stay.

The location is very good. The food is great. Excellent room service. The room is good. There is no mirror in the room. To dress up or comb your hair, you have to go to the bathroom. A dressing table or minimum a good mirror should be provided in the room.

Location is very much accessible from railway station, good staff. Little more care required in house keeping.

Located at the city center. Neat & tidy. Delicious kerala breakfast

Stayed here with family. Had a great time here. Very good property. Rooms are spacious and clean. Right on city itself, ample parking space. Highly recommend.

This place is located at the heart of the city, the ambience is good, the staff are polite and friendly. Good place to stay

All went well except the booking and the breakfast part. There was some issue with the booking regarding the age of the children which was on my part which according to me was not handled well by the mmt as well as the KTDC Loom Land

Nice rooms. Chic and clean. Bathroom was clean and excellently maintained.

There is no lift in the KTDC Loom Land, this was the main drawback in the KTDC Loom Land. Which will be difficult for any senior citizens and also no bell desk as well. Rest all was ok.

This KTDC Loom Land is renewed, clean, nice staff, food is good, this KTDC Loom Land is in the town and hence close to railway station

Hotel located in the city and very near to railway station staffs are good, break fast ok but limited options there, room big size. Over all enjoyed the stay there.
