KTDC Tamarind Kondotty

We stayed in room no. 103, on 01st March. The room was sweltering hot, in spite of the AC. The remote, of the AC is not in the room, but at the reception. We took rice and veg. meal, in the afternoon, costing Rs 76/-. But, the dinner, of rice, dal fry, and 3 chappatis, was around 300/-, and the food lacked taste and expertise. One, Mr. Rahul, at the reception, could neither understand Hindi, nor English. The print of the bills, were almost illegible. After, 10 pm. it is a deserted place, situated at a distant and high altitude, from the nearest main road/ gentry. The surrounding landscapes, are pictursque. The young trainee, at the reception, was excellent, at his job, in spite of being highly litterate.

Conveniently located close to the airport in idyllic settings. The view of the valley and the ridgeline beyond is a sight for weary eyes. The KTDC Tamarind Kondotty is modestly appointed but with all requisites. The rooms are neat and well kept but could do with some patchwork and a coat of distemper. There is a functional kitchen that serves up some of the dishes from a long list in its menu. The food is tasty and the staff is courteous. Good value for money. An 8 deal place to stay when boarding a flight or arriving on one in the middle of the night.

We liked the location and service. There was some unpleasant noise produced by a drilling work undertaken at night, which was stopped after our protest. Help in moving our luggage and service of refreshments were quite satisfactory. Air conditioning worked well and we were satisfied with the furnishing and hygiene. We could take a stroll outside after dinner, which was a memorable experience due to the beautiful surroundings and excellent view from the compound. Thank you very much.

Our family gone for rest. So we are enjoyed the location as well as KTDC Tamarind Kondotty facilities. The KTDC Tamarind Kondotty was situated near by calicut airport and Kondotty town by auto it costs Rs. 40/- to 50/-. Food also very good like home made and maintained cleanliness. They are provided hot waters for drink and Bath entire 24Hrs. Totally we enjoyed the tour.

Was very unsure how the KTDC Tamarind Kondotty would be while booking. But was impressed on reaching. Clean and decent rooms with AC. Decent food in the cafeteria, prompt service. Helpful staff. Enjoyed one night stay. Location on a hill top is very good. Check in and check out were very smooth. When in Calicut in future, would stay again in Hotel Tamarind.

Big and clean rooms. Good for a short stay. Understaffed but the boys are courteous and efficient. Very limited menu but that is understandable considering they have only ten rooms. Scenic location on a hilltop but very lonely and devoid of any facility like shops for biscuits, cigarettes, medicine etc.

Good stay near to airport. Had to catch the morning flight and the option to choose to stay just 5 minutes away from airport. THe staff are very co-operative and location is so convenient. Overall good experience and prefer choosing again. An option while travelling with family too.

The place was well staffed and the food was also good. Best part, this KTDC Tamarind Kondotty is 10 mins away from kozhikode airport.

The best part of the KTDC Tamarind Kondotty is it's location. It has clean rooms and toilets with all basic amenities. The view from the KTDC Tamarind Kondotty is good. The service is slow but the staff are courteous. Good for one night near airport.

Hotel location is on the top of a hill. Going by foot with all the luggage will be a nightmare. But got the room for 500 bucks which I think it is the most reasonable price. Arabian hut located just outside the KTDC Tamarind Kondotty was found to be good for food.

Food and all facilities available ... Easy to access all major roads .. Nice ambience ... Nice infrastructure ... Viewpoint also mesmerising. Everything well planned and also parking facilities available.

If you're going in expecting very good service, don't. Its located near the airport road intersection ( a little way towards kondotty) and can be spotted by a board. Atop a hill so a good view.Decent.

Close to the calicut airport, really good terrace with grass. Quiet place and I really enjoyed it there. I think its good for airport transfer only as far away from anything else .. Unless you take auto every day. Room is clean except windows! Cannot see through them whatsoever.

Friendly staff, even on the day of nationwide bandh ie on Sep 2nd the staff's provided tasty food & vehicle to go to airport & to Arya vaidya sala, Cortical. I will never forget in my lifetime. All credits go to officials those who trained the hospitality to the staff's.

Though far from Airport, KTDC Tamarind Kondotty is situated in the lap of nature. Lush green surroundings and helpful staff. Vynar hill station, Malabar wildlife sanctuary, Thusharagiri waterfall are all situated nearby. More value than money.

It's excellent KTDC Tamarind Kondotty with a very good view of Airport. Very good food and nice service. Value for money. We enjoyed our stay. The manager is very supportive and chef anil was also good. All together, it was good one. When in Calicut visit Tamarind.
