The property is situated near the stunning shores of the Vembanad Backwaters, offering breathtaking scenic views. Our stay at the resort was truly enjoyable, especially for my 14-year-old son. KTDC restaurants have always been my go-to destination for favorite dishes. Back in the '90s, I used to stay at KTDC Chaithram in Trivandrum, and I still remember the distinct taste of their food. To my delight, I experienced the same nostalgic flavors at KTDC Waterscape, Kumarakom—an exceptional contrast to today's fast-food culture. As a proud Keralite, I hope KTDC continues to reach new heights in the tourism and hospitality sector. Staying at properties like KTDC Waterscape truly embodies the essence of "God’s Own Country."

I’ve never written reviews for any stay but it would be sin if I don’t write for this. The stay was absolutely blissful, peaceful and felt so impressed. Room was perfect (Canal View) The assistance took us in battery car, carried our luggage and drove us to the room. They explained everything politely. Complementary breakfast was tasty. Wherever you want to go inside the resort, the assistance are a call away, they will get you in battery car. They even wait until you come out of your room instead of knocking. Swimming pool was literally clean and you can do your make up by watching your face there. Sceneries were beautiful, perfect spot for outdoor photoshoot. Cons : 1, N 2, O 3, T 4, H 5, I 6, N 7, G

The resort is situated in an absolutely stunning location, right on the lake and at the heart of a web of tranquil canals. The views are simply breathtaking, offering a serene and peaceful atmosphere that made my stay truly special. In addition to the beautiful surroundings, I found the food to be quite satisfying, particularly the breakfast and dinner buffets. While taste is always subjective, I thought the variety and quality were enjoyable.

I found the location via makemytrip itself. The ambience and overall location was amazing. The hospitality was great as well. Overall a very good place if you want to relax and escape real world.

It is a sprawling property right next to the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. Basic amenities are top-notch although we did face some black-outs. The restuarant has good range of food items, especially the fish options. Overall, a decent stay close to backwaters around Lake Vembanad
